Capitalism promotes the right of the individual to own their own labor and exchange that labor for an agreed upon payment in an agreed upon medium. There is no freedom without economic freedom. And it is clear these people are
against both.

Sounds like a pretty good description of socialism. You know that wonderful form of economy where the individual is only valued for the service he can perform for the collective and the only bounty he receives from his labor is just enough to keep him capable of performing the job he is assigned. . . what could possibly be more dehumanizing than that?

Probably because they are so busy working to support themselves and everybody else in our modern welfare state that they just don’t have time enough to go out and commit crimes.

There may be several forms of fascism, but they are all built on an authoritarian collectivist/statist government in which the economy has been centralized under a single command/control and industry is owned by the government. Sorta like what O Duce is working so hard to bring about right now.

Sadly is has been quite a while since the sort of Laissez Faire Capitalism that made this country great has been allowed to do what it does best. And I’ve a feeling that if these people got their way none of us would be allowed to do what we do best unless it served the wishes of our new egalitarian masters.

Honestly, you probably don’t want to know... I can’t remember the name of the picture, but it’s quite graphic, and is “infamous” on the web. I’m no “virgin” when it comes to seeing things on the web that are kind of nasty without warning, but even I found it quite disturbing...
I saw it in the files under the pic that they credit to Mojitojoe, and it just fit with your comment about them all being a bunch of A$$holes...
You’re a good sport, B-Chan! I completely understand, but don’t know how you do it. I don’t think I could handle that, and it’s part of the reason I don’t get down on myself too often for not doing more with my acting & singing...
Oh, and BTW - while we’re on the subject... my daughters all freaked when a while back (gosh maybe even two years ago???) I commented on some thread to you, and happened to check out your profile page... Two of them are aspiring manga artists, one is an aspiring voice-over actress, and all four were VERY upset with me when they were unable to go to the con where you were speaking last year due to our finances (I think it was Chicago?), AND they were even MORE upset when they found out that I *knew* you here at FR. LOL
