I agree that he should move because he's just a sitting target.
Truth at a price?
We might ask that question of:
Joe the Plumber
Rush Limbaugh
The LEO who had a beer at the White House
Glenn Beck
Charlie the fireman
The Rasmussen Poll
Welcome to 0bama's Chicagoland, America
Agreed. And I had not read that far to 36. But agree there as well.
The local Police had to be all to familiar with what this man was up against. I’m sure they would get there double quick.
He was very lucky this guy didn’t take his granddaughter’s head off with the axe. There have been numerous cases where terrorists have killed little kids when they come for vengeance. I remember one case in Israel where a Palestinian snatched a Jewish baby from a cradle and smashed its head against a rock when he fled. And other cases in Southeast Asia where they have murdered small girls walking home from school. Obama’s cousin Odinga ordered a church burned down in Kenya full of women and children, and they used machetes on the few who got out.
All i can think of..is the 75 year old american men that I know who would lay down their lives happily to make sure that their grandchild is safe. No way could I see an american man run to safety and leave a grand daughter in danger.
She had a broken leg in a cast.
An axe-wielding Somali extremist broke into the home of Kurt Westergaard on Friday night as the 75-year-old cartoonist was looking after Stephanie, his five-year-old granddaughter. Thanks FreeThinkerNY
I'm just glad the girl and grandpa are fine. I'm impressed how fast the police arrived.
Rush - though given his 'episode' may not have enjoyed Hawaii as much as he had anticipated - but you get my drift. Rush has bodyguards as perhaps - or 'no doubt' - does Glenn; and must take particular precautions in his lifestyle; but again, Westergaard has had to alter his entire life to insure he does not go out with a bloodied scream of 'allahu ackbar'; a threat that follows his every step and waking hour.
That said; appreciate all who make sacrifices on our behalf when it comes to speaking truth against the 'false'; while holding steadfast to what is theirs and ours, basic freedoms. We need these voices; and the courage they demonstrate daily should have our greatest appreciation.
“Maybe the media can give out his daily schedule and house floor plan.”

The local paper printed Grandpa’s pic today but no pic of the somali perp because he’s lawyered up and the article stated the media can’t reveal his name and they even let him hide his face in court. Now that’s irony.
I still think the best kind of panic room is a Remington 870.
As soon as he ran off and left a little kid undefended he lost his right to live!
The article doesn't say how big the house is. Perhaps the little girl was relatively far away from the action.
Turns out the cartoonist was correct. The terrorist, in his rage, was focused on trying to kill his target and didn't wander around looking for anybody else.
My initial reation was the same as yours. But then I thought of a momma bird scrambling away from me in a field, pretending to have a broken wing. Same thing here. This cartoonist has thought of little else for years now except of his personal security. Draw the threats attention. Taunt him if nescessary. Notify the cavalry, who will arrive in seconds. Worked out pretty well.
