Actually, if you saw Rush's press conference at the hospital, besides the anti-Zero anti-Obamacare smacks, Rush was adamant about people taking it seriously and not to hesitate - I take Kate's statements in the same way as wanting people to know, a la a PSA.

Agreed. If she truly has his interests at heart, she would’t divulge details like this. Agree with an earlier post, Rush is a genius but not necessarily when it comes to women.

The first thing that I wondered, was how much longer she was going to be his girlfriend after she blabbed the story to the media. If this is true, somehow I can't see Rush being too happy about it.

Actually, it may not have been a heart attack. But she certainly did the right thing. Treat it as a heart attack, and then worry about whether it was or not afterwards.

I’m also a bit bothered by her talking with the press about this. But hopefully she spoke to Rush first, and he gave her the go-ahead. The press needed a statement, and this may take some of the weight off of him. The last thing Rush probably wants to talk about is the state of his health, other than to say, “I’m OK.”
