Then moderate state Assemblyman Caspar Weinberger told the New York Times that "Christopher will do much better than Rockefeller did. Reagan will get the great bulk of the Goldwater support, but it does not represent much more than one-third of the party."

As we all know, similar quotes can be found even on FR Palin threads today!

So which should I believe?

Governor Palin's substantive position on global warming or candidate Palin's populist rhetoric on GW?

Another big problem for the PalinBots is the fact that Palin's most substantive actions in Alaska are on the verge of being undone.

When this problem in Alaska was pointed out to the PalinBots in 2008 you accused them of being Palin haters. Is the new Alaska governor a Palin hater?

Palin will divide the tea party movement. It has already started.

Ron Paul announed the is dis-associating with the tea party because the NeoCons are taking the movement over. So, what is your opinion of Palin's very close and exclusive association with NeoCon Randy Scheunemann?

Thanks for the ping.

As I have written, I like Palin. I like what she has to say and the manner in which she says it. I am hoping that she can do now what Jesse Jackson did throughout the 80s, move the political discussion in this country by sheer force of will and popularity.

In the 80s the dems feared JJ; not because he could win the race for POTUS but because millions listened to him. He was able to move the dems giant steps to the left. This pulled the middle left and the right to the middle. Sarrah could reverse this and get the middle back where it belongs.

As with JJ, I don't think that she can win at the national polls. But, if, through her insistant presence, she can force the ultimate GOP nominee to take a few giant steps right then her value would have been proved.

Interesting point. As a curiosity, are you saying she is an extremist in the party like JJ, or simply has a narrow base?

Also, I'd appreciate comments on the post I linked to KoRn.

So, what is your opinion of Palin’s very close and exclusive association with NeoCon Randy Scheunemann?

I don’t know anything about it, and little about him. Please fill me in.

That's right, I remember now.

You're the guy who often uses the same term liberals use to divide us, "NeoCon".

They are under your bed.

NeoCons, that is.

Ya better check the closet too.

Boo!

LOL!

Normally a candidate seeks out the advice from many or all.

In the case of McCain, he had NeoCon consultants including Scheuneman, which is where Palin met him. McCain also had Realist advisers Kissinger and Armitage, as well as liberal interventionists from CNAS advising his campaign.

Likewise with Obama, he had advisers from all three groups.

But, as you know, Palin was/is a unique situation. She is so dumb the only thing she knows about foreign policy is what is on the other side of the Bering Straits. It is only normal that she would drift toward Scheuneman, she probably doesn't even know there are other foreign policy doctrines.

As an early foot soldier for Ronald Reagan (starting in his 1966 California primary campaign for governor against San Francisco Mayor George Christopher), I well remember with what bemused scorn the political establishment of both parties held for Mr. Reagan. Then moderate state Assemblyman Caspar Weinberger told the New York Times that "Christopher will do much better than Rockefeller did. Reagan will get the great bulk of the Goldwater support, but it does not represent much more than one-third of the party."

Bears repeating.

When will people realize that the plan so obviously IS to bring us to our knees morally, financially, and militarily so that we will run into the arms of the new world order?
