Perhaps in the sense that you can't invalidate the reality of something that isn't real.

However the time lag of CO2 levels behind temperature revealed in the ice core samples does reject the hypothesis of CO2 driving temperature. Its called "falsification". Its a concept used in something called "science". The kind of science that actually uses scientific method, as opposed to the kind of science that hides real world data and plays with fantasy worlds on computers.

The problem is that in our system it is all about how you you look on TV. Good looks and smooth delivery even if it completely scripted by unknown writers through a teleprompter... seems to trump common sense, integrity and the experience of someone like Sen. Inhofe.
