Something tells me if Cheney had the opportunity, he’d give Biden the same advice he gave to Sen Patrick Leahy a few years back.

If they're going to take credit for it, fair enough, for what they've done while they're there, Mr. Cheney said Sunday. But it ought to go with a healthy dose of 'thank you, George Bush' up front and a recognition that some of their early recommendations, with respect to prosecuting that war, were just dead wrong.
I know it's old but so is the truth!

When talking with Larry King, Joe Biden said, I am very optimistic about — about Iraq. I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration. You’re going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You’re going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government.
Biden did not mention the numerous obstacles overcome for these achievements. The Democratic party, mainstream media, and liberal intellectuals always proclaimed Iraq a quagmire, and demanded immediate U.S. withdrawal. Biden promoted Iraq disunion into three separate countries. When Lt. General Petraeus appeared for Senate confirmation this Princeton PhD provided a splendid dissertation for using classic counterinsurgency tactics to win in Iraq. Hillary Clinton said listening to him required suspension of disbelief, and proceeded to present her own perspective for a failed and hopeless mission.
Barrack Obamas last noteworthy Iraq involvement occurred in July 2007 when he, Biden, Clinton, etal co-sponsored the Levin-Reed Amendment requiring most troops leave by April 2008. The amendment was defeated and the Al Anbar Awakening began in 2007. Then throughout 2008, the Iraqi people and leaders experienced deliverance from lives dominated by assassins stalking them and their families. The Iraqis witnessed ascendance of their national institutions in providing personal and material security.
Before Obama became president, the Status of Forces Agreement, between the U.S. and Iraq, provided the blueprint for implementing U.N. principles and U.S. withdrawal.
Obamas administration had no part in Iraq successes.

While everyone is falling all over themselves thanking each other.....You'd think Iraq would have a "Thank you America day"...
Don't hold your breath though...

The vice-president also said: We built on the positive things that the Bush administration had initiated, and we have jettisoned those things that were negative. The main thing you jettisoned was that WHITE FLAG you and Barack were waving in front of an enemy!

Obamas administration had no part in Iraq successes. Saddam was long ago dead before Barry had the opportunity to bow to him as POTUS.

It's those same positive things, like the surge, that Obama and Biden both said would fail and they claimed it did fail. No one in the Lame Stream Media has forced Obama or Biden to admit they were wrong then and wrong now.

Okay, I bite. What did Cheney say to Leaping Leahy? I can't repost it word for word...
But the first word was "Go"...
The last word was "yourself"...
And the middle word rhymes with buck, cluck, duck, huck, juck, luck, muck, puck, suck, and tuck.
Just sayin'....
