It is obvious that you have no idea what the definition of a “socialist” is. Hint….. neither of the Bush’s were/are “socialists” as implied by your post.
Reading your posts these past few days has enlightened me as to the level your political acumen. The above being a representative example. Hang in there….in time you’ll figure out the political landscape, and learn not to throw out unsubstantiated bombs/labels like CINO/RINO/Socialist etc. on people that don’t meet the test of pure agreement with your bias….. When that happens maybe you gain respect for your ideas/posts... Note to self: be tolerent of the politically ignorant......
Who authored the bail-outs? Who created the prescription drug plan? These things are by definition socialist. I think it is you who are confused as to what is or is not socialist.

The real danger to our Republic are people who believe that the two political wings/parties are the same, occupy that political spectrum of “Moderate,” and vote left or right based on criteria such as “charisma, good hair, oratory skills, good looks, etc because they are too lazy/ignorant to become informed about the issues and the consequences of supporting those of the other wing.
Primary elections are where we wrestle about the direction (soul) of the Republican Party ….moderate/conservative…..General elections are where we support our wing (hopefully Conservative) to deny the playing field to the opposing Party….

Bush, as President, did not author legislation. The Prescription Drugs, No Child Left Behind, TARP, etc. were legislative bills written by Democrates, and enacted by Congress.... It should be noted that the Dems controlled Congress for 4 of Bush’s 8 years. When you factor in misguided Repubs like Lincoln Chaffe, McCain, Graham, Snow, Collins, Specter, etc. the Dems controlled Congress for nearly the entire Bush years.
Yes, I know Bush lost his way by not exercising his veto pen more often. With the Dems, the MSM, and people like you demonizing him at every turn it would have been a fight he could not win. We bear a larger share of the blame by not electing Conservatives/real Republicans to a safe majority in Congress to keep the Government on track.
You do know that The Congress and the President are co-equal branches of Government don’t you? Being President is not like being elected King.....

I don’t know what your agenda is, but tagging Republicans with bad names does nothing to defeat the Dems agenda to turn the US into a Socialist/Communist country, nor does it advance the Conservative movement in general.
In the near term we are facing Dem legislation on Amnesty, Cap and Trade, Vat Taxes, in addition to nationalizing whole industries by Presidential fiat. Our job will be to convert, rather than subvert/demonize, moderates to Conservative principals. Throwing reckless bombs or pejorative names at moderates will not further our goals.
We will need all the resolute help we can enlist....won’t you lend a hand in constructive actions/words/ideas?
