She really believes McCain is the best person for the Senate. She is being honest as she always is, and is honestly endorsing him and asking us to support him. Then we are obligated to honestly oppose her, McCain, Snowe, and Lindsy Grahm (sp).

His own words:
“I believe we must have comprehensive immigration reform. The American people want our borders secured first,” McCain said during a news conference in Mexico City.
“That will require some walls. It will require virtual fences. It will require high-technology equipment. We must secure our borders, and then we will address the issue of comprehensive immigration reform.”

Her list of poor judgements (being generous) keeps growing.
Well, if they are more than one, why don't you post them for all to see?
Or do they really exist?

“I am not wedded to Sarah Palin, but I like her best of all. I do, however, have a short list of very worthy others *in my head* in case she doesnt run.”
Heck, Onyx, except for her McCain lovefest, I like her better than anyone else so far!
“Im scared to death that immigration is going to be an issue long decided before Sarah Palin ever gets the chance to have any official input.”
I think Sarah Palin hopes its a decided issue before she has to face it.

Yawn....
Sarah is simply a faux conservative. No true conservative would cheerlead for the re-election of a pro-amnesty, pro-global warming, pro-campaign finance reform candidiate. It really is just that simple. Sorry if your brain can compute.
So, in other words, you don't have any other issues, correct and you are just too much of a coward to own up to it.

I thought Grahamnesty backed away from this after HC was passed. Do you have a source that says differently.
Graham only said it would be more difficult, he is still reaching across the isle. My firm belief is that if McCain is defeated in the Primary, we will see the real McCain, then watch out.

Coldwater,
I am one of the biggest Sarah boosters on this site, and even I don't trust McCain when he says things like that.
McCain proved himself to be a liar over and over while trying to get McCain-Kennedy passed.
He said what he thought he had to say to get the bill passed.
Besides Obama, I don't think there is a person I have more disgust for than John McCain.

If someone named "Sarah Smith" were to sign up on FR and repeatedly, vocally express support for McCain, would she be:
A. Encouraged to reconsider?
B. Banned?
C. Warmly welcomed?
D. Endorsed as a candidate for national office?

Except DeMint is pretty explicit in where he differs with Goober. And amnesty is one of those areas.Has DeMint specifically said that he will deport all illegal aliens who have children born in this country. I haven't seen that quote yet. Perhaps you have.
Sarah will have time to clarify her position as will all the candidates. And any form of amnesty will only attract more illegals.
To: ColdWater
So??? WHICH John McCain are we to believe today??? You tell us.
A day earlier, in Milwaukee, in front of an audience of more sympathetic businessmen, McCain had been asked how debate over the immigration bill was playing politically. In the short term, it probably galvanizes our base, he said. In the long term, if you alienate the Hispanics, youll pay a heavy price. Then he added, unable to help himself, By the way, I think the fence is least effective. But Ill build the goddamned fence if they want it.

I think Sarah Palin hopes its a decided issue before she has to face it.That's really a stretch. She will have to clarify on this issue, and I'm betting she comes out four square against any amnesty and for controlling the borders. It's what she's been saying since her book tour started, and until she says otherwise I'm not going to doubt her.
All this fake outrage is from the poisoned well of the Paulists and a few others on this forum.

Sarah Palin has a degree in journalism? Why oh why doesn’t she get some decent help with writing and with speeches??
To: FreeReign; AuntB
Here’s what DeMint said about McCain-Kennedy, you know the bill that Sarah gleefully endorsed:
“This rewards people who broke the law with permanent legal status, and puts them ahead of millions of law-abiding immigrants waiting to come to America. I don’t care how you try to spin it, this is amnesty.”

Don't count on it. He has not given an unequivocal 'no' to Romney, just that he wants to see how 2010 shakes out. Remember, he was one of the first to endorse Romney when Mitt jumped into the fray.
In the end, though, is there any doubt he will ultimately endorse Mitt if Mitt is the guy?

Hannity alos wore out dozens of kneepads supporting Rudy “sactuary city” Giuliani. His endorsements don’t mean squat.

If Mitt wins the primary, I imagine he would. Just as every republican would. Of course, I’m not a pubbie, so I won’t vote Mitt, just as I didn’t vote McCain.

The PaulBot is so desperate and running out of lies, he is trying to suck in the peope like us who believe in a secure border and against blanket amnesty.
Sean Hannity who has spent time here in San Diego at the border and has done special programs on the situation and understands the situation as we do and the need to secure the border, etc is a supporter of Sarah PalinOh, that's right. Sean Hannity has done several programs from the border and he supports Sarah.

She HAS said otherwise, but you won’t hear it. “I support his [McCain] position on immigration”
“All this fake outrage is from the poisoned well of the Paulists and a few others on this forum. “
No, this is the usual GOP/liberal standard of killing the messenger if they say something you don’t like. Been there, done that.

If you want to support someone that is actively trying to defeat a conservative by supporting a candidiate that pro-amnesty, pro-global warming, and pro-campaign finance reform then have at it. It just isn’t my cup of tea.
