She is not my favorite person but I agree with the decision.
Better than having some slime dems slip in in NOV.

check with the ‘gunner. I stole the pic from him and added the faux caption.

“Has she indicated she’d run again in 2012?”
At this point, I believe that the question is moot. There’s no way that she could win the 2012 GOP primary against Michael Williams, Abbott, Dewhurst or whomever.

"now we got a crippled candidate running, which gives the rats an opportunity" You make too many assumptions here.
KBH should NEVER have run against a successful Governor of the same party. That in itself taints her. It is the job of any politician to win his/her election if they run one. Therefore, it was a requirment for Perry to destroy her so he could win...imagine that.
Is she trying to set a predidence here, i.e., run against a successful incumbent from your own party just because you are ineffective in your current job?

You got that right. KBH will not get my vote in a GOP primary.

That’s why I asked if she had indicated she was running again. I think its moot also but for different reasons.

It was the way he beat her that bothers me, he painted her as some sort of out of control liberal who has threesomes with Obama and Nancy basically.
That will leave her wounded for quite some time, and my biggest priority is keeping that senate seat Republican.
To: TexasFreeper2009
There is absolutely nothing that was done during the campaign that was either wrong, or unusual other than the fact that a sitting Senator challenged a sitting governor of the same party for no reason other than to pad her ego.
That is the action that tainted her, not the campaign. It is way too early to be worried about 2012.

I think she challenged him, because a year or two ago (when he was pushing the Trans Texas corridor thing and forced HPV vaccines) he appeared very vulnerable.

Republicans didn’t want to deal with a special election this year. I hope she steps down in 2012.

It either have her in the Senate, or on Welfare, one way or another she is not going to work, and she will still be feeding in the Public Trough. Once they get the teat in their mouth you cannot pry them away from public feeding.
