For every Tea Partier that attends the rallys, there are many more that can't get off work or otherwise attend.

The thing is, with their anti-communist headgear and kooky “save a seal, club a liberal” placards, the Tea Partiers seem possessed by a genuine esprit de corps, pardon my French.

In an effort to better grasp the mystique of membership, I asked a girl named Emily, 22, what it was that inspired her to write a sign that said, “Smash Left-Wing Scum,” that seemed to be getting a lot of media attention.

“I was mostly thinking, ‘How can I get media attention with my sign,’ ” she said with a shrug.

Looks like (if he didn't conspire with them or just make them up) he managed to find some of the infil-traitors!

I personally can't stand the idea of taking orders from Clinton, W, HW, Carter, Nixon (RIP), or Ford (oops) either. I might be able to stand taking orders from Ronaldus Magnus, but I would feel compelled to ask for reasons first.

As others have said, that's called projection: seeing in others what is in you, yourself. If you are obsessed with the color of people's skin, then you think everyone else is, too.

The fact that President Obama's skin is darkly pigmented is probably the one thing about him that matters not at all to me.

Give me a good solid conservative candidate who happens to be black and I'll be more than delighted to vote for him or for her.

Unfortunately, he/she/it effectively becomes the boss of the people when signing into law things like the incandescent light bulb ban or health care reform. So, yes, in a sense, we all are taking orders from these idiots, like it or not.
