“and boot out all the atheists, and secularists.”

Uh Huh, just try it bub!

Bring lots of body bags.

Your insanely intolerant stance is indistinguishable from the Taliban.
“Freedom of religion” has to include the right to be free FROM religion or it is meaningless.

What Mexico has had for government is a collection of repeated, ulta-corrupt, vile, anti-American leftist dictatorial régimes. The same type of disgusting régime currently occupies the White House. Two of a kind.

LOL. When in doubt, SCREAM and SHOUT, and throw in a little ridicule. You said, “Uh Huh, just try it bub!Bring lots of body bags”. You sound more like the Taliban than I.

Of course we can't and won't boot out people who are here legally, and I do not seriously advocate for that. I actually was trying for a little satire, sarcasm, and comedy with the “boot out” comment, but since you mentioned it and got all weweed up, I'll discuss it a little.

We do have a basic disagreement about Freedom of religion. It is different than freedom from religion. Freedom of religion is what we are supposed to have. That I can tolerate just fine.

I don't agree that freedom from religion is necessary, but Obviously people of good intention can differ on that issue. It is ok with me if people who wish to be agnostic are here - I am just not happy with the extent that things have been pushed today.

Freedom from religion and secularism is something that I have recently (after many years of infringement)decided may have been detrimental to our society. Looking back over the last 50 years, I can see where at various turning points, we gave way to appease a vocal minority. It has not improved our society, and especially not our government. It has also resulted in the silent majority getting sick and tired of being forced to live like the 10-30% get the courts to dictate they have to. It kinda breeds resentment.

I believe that our system was designed to work with honesty, duty, and ethics, as provided by the 10 commandments, and the various protestant religions. It certainly doesn't work very well with crooks, thieves, and cronyism, Marxists, communists, and progressives.

Obama’s election and mad dash to the left, and recent research has made me realize that the strong religious institutions have helped to keep our country free. Communist takeovers have often clamped down or outlawed religion.

Religion and the nonviolent civil rights movement led by Rev. Martin Luther King helped prevent the communist efforts to incite a race war during that turbulent time.

Since I was a teenager, and until a few years after 9/11 I was always accepting of Muslim faith. However, eventually, I must admit, that when I look at other countries who are majority Islam, or have allowed major Muslim immigration, I have to be honest, that does give me pause.

I certainly would not want the US to morph into a defacto caliphate, or to be subject to Sharia Law. Nor do I think that retribution for conversion from Muslim faith to some other faith should be tolerated in the US.

I have yet to decide what the policy of the US should be going forward with respect to Islam. I do not like the idea of radical jihad being fomented in the US(and at taxpayer expense). Course I don't like Black Liberation Theology that says G#@d damn America either, but I guess at least Rev Wright wasn't advocating killing Americans, or we would surely have heard the sound bite.

"Mexico will welcome you"

And put you through a lot of red tape according to an account I read some years back by a Swedish man who wanted to start a business in Mexico. There are many restrictions on foreigners owning businesses in Mexico.

My local guy Joe Pags was reading the Mexico laws this morning.

Mexico far tougher on Illegals than US.

I’m sorry, but isn’t is ALREADY a crime to be in the US illegally? Arizona only restated the law.

Anyone who has ever traveled in Mexico will attest to the fact that they must produce their papers on a whim, usually to heavily armed and intimidating Federales.

The Border Patrol has checkpoints on I-17, I-10, State Road 85, etc... at which they ask if you are a US citizen just for passing by. This is Federal and it’s okay.

But we’re supposed to just let everyone in without knowing who they are or where they’re from? NO!

— Illegal entry into the country is equivalent to a felony punishable by two years’ imprisonment. Document fraud is subject to fine and imprisonment; so is alien marriage fraud. Evading deportation is a serious crime; illegal re-entry after deportation is punishable by ten years’ imprisonment. Foreigners may be kicked out of the country without due process and the endless bites at the litigation apple that illegal aliens are afforded in our country (see, for example, President Obama’s illegal alien aunt — a fugitive from deportation for eight years who is awaiting a second decision on her previously rejected asylum claim).

— Law enforcement officials at all levels — by national mandate — must cooperate to enforce immigration laws, including illegal alien arrests and deportations. The Mexican military is also required to assist in immigration enforcement operations. Native-born Mexicans are empowered to make citizens’ arrests of illegal aliens and turn them in to authorities.

Hey, lets ask Jan Brewer to call Calderon to apologize, and tell him that we will pass new laws identical to Mexicos!

Mexico would never treat people like that because all the evil republicans are in the US. /s

How about some honesty?

Most of your Republicans have been aiding and abetting this epic violent invasion for many years now. Including during the eight years of the Bush administration.

There is enough BS in politics, and is one of the reasons America is in the state it is in....So stop the BS, and lets be honest.

The issue was not enforcement of the law, it was how republicans are cast as evil. In relation to the current events, the liberals are calling the republicans Nazis. Ergo, my post was not BS.

Your diversion from the point at hand is based on truth, I’ll give you that. We have many facets to the issue of illegal immigration. But to ask for honesty? It’s an invalid path.

I never shouted, just stated a couple of facts.

I’m a pretty fair shot, and legally own automatic weapons, just so that intolerant tyrants of ANY description cannot easily impose their agenda on me.

My experience is that those who get “all weweed up” over others not sharing their particular faith to the degree they demand are probably a bit weak in that faith.
So they need constant reassurance they they are morally superior.
Too many others use their “faith” as an excuse to screw over anyone who is not a member of their clique.
No one is ever going to force me into their regime, not the communist, Catholics, Mormons, Muslims, Budhist, Hindu, or any other sect.
I do my best to ignore all religion equally, but “Kill the infidels” post like yours (off topic too) have to be answered in a free America.

And let there be no confusion, I desire to be as FREE FROM religion as possible, not merely agnostic.
Religious holidays annoy me, I am tired of having to conform my schedule to others superstition.

Religion is not a necessity for ethics, intelligent self interest ensures ethics.
I tolerate all sorts of religions among my friends, I even have a few Muslim visitors, we just do not discuss religion, they know better than to attempt to bring it up with me.

The rest of your response lacks focus to the original point of our contention.

Wrong again...The title issue of the thread refers to, "How Mexico Treats Illegal Aliens".

Fact is the leftist Democrats refer to Republicans as evil, much as the Republicans cast the the Democrats as evil.

In between is the truth, which clearly shows both have been riding in back of the same limo in regards to this lawless violent invasion.
