While I was not a fan of Crist there were some comments made on this board as well as in the media that were pretty nasty. Because Crist is a nasty guy with zero principles who will sell his soul to the devil himself for his own selfish purposes?
“Hes out and running as an independent and some polls have him leading. “
Crist will lose.

Thanks. Bennett was finished.

Not to worry, Bush beat Kerry by 45 points in Utah in 2004.

The poll is from April 16. Yes, and since then, illegal immigration ha become an even bigger issue in Arizona, with the passing of Arizona's new illegal immigration law. That favors JD, and does not favor Juan “Amnesty” McCain.
” I dont know why Rasmussen hasnt polled again.”
They poll about once a month. Should be another poll in the next week or so.
To: SmokingJoe
Yep, I thought about the dates as soon as I posted. Looking forward to new Rasmussen next week!!!

[His pitch was that you are taking a risk by going with no-name conservatives against the Dems. Pretty lame.]
Funny, the Rats can’t replace their incumbent candidates with no-name liberals fast enough.
To: cbkaty
That is great!!. The purification has started. Get these amnesty lovin liberals out of our party or we sack it on the way out. Bye Bye RINO!!

Romney was at the convention trying to rally the troops for Bennett.

I just heard Bennett on Fox News say with one or two exceptions hed vote the same way he has, even if he knew it would cost him his career. That last word is the problem. We need to get back to government by the people and stop with the notion that politics should be a career. Exactly.

Honestly, I've seen more of Jason Chavetz (sp?) on TV in his short time in Congress than I've ever seen of ole Bob Bennett. Chavetz has been out there like a bulldog, not afraid to tear it up, unlike Bennett who seems to be scared of his own shadow.
That's not what our country needs right now, especially when we're up against the most corrupt administration we've ever seen.

Republican voters should be making the decision, not party hacksPerhaps the party hacks could read the tea leaves of what happened in NY, MA etc.

I was inspired to write a limerick:
A bailout supporter named Bennett,
tried to remain in the senate,
but Tea Parties said NO,
he just had to go,
and Cornyn had no way to spin it.

I just saw him on tv. Crying. Amazing. He reached across the aisle once too often. He still does not get it.
