I like Tammy Bruce. She’s a great lady, staunch Constitutional conservative, and tremendous Palin supporter.

Tammy Bruce was incredibly courageous when she was on the Left and denounced NOW and other Marxist hypocrites. Everyone will disappoint you on some issue, but Tammy is a real advocate for the Right.

I’m guess that you think supporting liberal moral values is the future for conservatism. Sadly, featuring Tammy Bruce and similar speakers is just a pretense that licentiousness will work as a life plan. It reveals a real lack of conservative leadership just where it is needed the most.

Tammy Bruce here. My first post as I normally just lurk and appreciate the site. I just want to thank all of you for recognizing how odd this post is and for the (sometimes qualified) support :) I’ve worked very hard now for years with my books and other work to promote the importance of conservative ideals for our great nation. In part, yes, this is to make up for my years on the left and have written extensively about that. It’s heartening to see genuine conservatives recognizing the contribution someone like myself can make. I’m honored and grateful. Thank you :)
Lastly, I’m proud of my assoc w the YAF=Young America’s Foundation (which helps college Republican groups among other things). They know who I am, as does their base. Their assoc represents the generosity and understanding I’ve seen throughout the conservative movement. That YAF is a *very* different organization from the YAF=Young Americans for Freedom which unfortunately was most recently represented by a young man who was rather odd and angrily obsessed with the homos at CPAC. He’s the fellow booed off the stage after condemning CPAC for inviting GOProud to the conference. I’ve recently joined GOProud as the chair of their Advisory Committee btw.

This is exactly the problem.
Conservatives stand for traditional values. You are doing your best to change that, and using conservative money to do it.
