OK, “nasty” = “disturbing”...

Mine’s just blinking away on my screen at least!

I just read up on the blink tag.
Apparently Internet Exploder no longer supports the tag these days.
Weird.
So those who use IE are immune to the blink tag.

That explains it... I’m using Firefox! Marquee does not work!

At one time there was a cabal here that used to post in white font and you had to highlight to read. We were very sneaky.

Marquee is what is supposedly commented out.
Firefox does support blink still.
Hmm...
On the Dimensional Doors thread, there are a couple posters who still post in white font here and there.

I had almost forgotten Registered. I still have a poster that he designed. Remember the one of Algore in the straight jacket?

Registered did not do the one of Al Gore in the straight jacked. Solomon Kane did. He hasn't posted here since late 2002

IIRC, Yossarian printed up the poster.

He brought it to a rally in the fall of 2000 after Gore started trying to steal the election. You know, hanging chads etc

Someone at Free Republic had suggested that we all should wear white coats and capture Al Gore, as he was pretty certifiable back then. LOL now too.

Dr. Zoo was the only one that showed up with a lab coat, and was pictured with the captured Al Gore

Cool Guy, was that the time we had a rally in SF and then convoyed to Sacramento with you in the lead with your sunroof open and holding a large American flag though the roof?

Yes, that’s a better fit.

I still have that poster, rolled up under my bed right now! We really have to open up some sort of Museum of Conservatism, so it lives on for posterity....

(I'd ping Solomon Kane, but he's banned / suspended!!!)

In a similar event I started a Departure-Opus thread for Storm Orphan who got himself banned. He was surprised since he and I ofteN argued on the Libertarian hreads. He got word to me of his appreciation but I couldn’t get him unbanned and Jim pulled my thread.

I have had endless arguements with liberterians but made good freinds with a number of them despite that.

Then there was another notorious one, bunny-something,

Yup, bunny slippers.

Surprised to hear Bad Joe died. Who was his freeper wife?

I believe Dr. Zoo made that appearance during our trip from SF to Sacramento.

It was “RR” - John Resen — who took his own life with a gun. As I remember it, his friends said he knew he would die at his own hand, and was one reason he never married. He came close to it several times. Depression, I guess. So young, so handsome, great conservative. A loss for everyone. I remember asking him what the RR stood for and he asked me to guess. {{{{{batted head}}}}} Ronald Reagan of course!

He was the first Freeper I ever met — before we were known as Freepers. It was at the very first “Freep” in NYC when Clinton went to see “The Lion King”. RR was so outgoing and friendly. Who would have ever expected it.

Yeah, I have a closet full of signs. I would have re-used the Al Gore strait-jacket sign if I was able to go to the recent Monterey protest rally Brian Sussman was at.

Wait, did I just see a “Cool Guy” sighting on this thread? ;-)

Clinton's a rapist. OMG you've really resurrected a name from the past. Was she the redhead who attended either the UN protest or the Broaddrick rally in NYC?

Often wonder where Howlin, ironman, Hillary's lovely legs and Senator Pardek are these days. So many great memories! Still cannot get over the death of yaya123 or kattracks, and just learned Bad Joe may no longer be with us.

Yup, that's correct

The picture was taken on the steps of the Capitol in Sacto.

Ah heck ping him anyway!

Yes, a Muzeum would be just the ticket.

I've thought of that many times, I have so much stuff pertaining to FR related rallies, trips, events etc.

Remember what you told me when I asked you how you printed up such a big poster?
