Not Newt.

The following are the only ones worth considering:

Christie
DeMint
Ryan
Palin

Talk about cherry-picking. The polling here skews 90% Republican and Gingrich is only 21% overall - in fourth behind Huckabee, Palin and Romney.

A more accurate headline should be “one state starting to like Gingrich, but he has a lot of work to do.”

(I like Newt).

guys, I’ll admit it.

I’m so fed up with you know who that I’ll even go along with Newt.

I’d prefer Palin or Christie.

We better come up with someone with brass balls, who will NOT pardon Obama the second they take office. It’s going to be quite a mess to clean up, corruption-wise.

Gingrich may be a brilliant politician, but his personal negatives are too high to get very far.

LOL! Unlike Obama's I suppose?

I wouldn’t say RINO, but an opportunist who has some very brilliant ideas, then taints them by trying to make nicey-nice with people like Hillary and Pelosi.

He would make a great President, but is not likeable enough to get election. I’m hoping for Chris Christie.

Newt is a d.c. insider
Newt is not in my list of top 100.
Newt is in league with Hillary.
Newt let the pubbies down when they were in charge and he allowed them to spend way too much of MY MONEY.
Newt would NOT shake d.c. like it needs to be shaken.

I’d sure prefer Newt over the Obami, but can’t we find somebody who’s a “real really conservative”? Chris Christie would be fun inside DC. Maybe not as president...but in a capacity like Rhambo Emanual. He’d bust Libtard chops for sport.

Newt should get the message loud and clear:

Not no but hell no.

"I hate to burst anyone’s bubbles, but this is a non-starter IMHO. Gingrich may be a brilliant politician, but his personal negatives are too high to get very far. Someone needs to tell him straight up and save him some time and money."

I think you are way off here. Even if this is a non-starter, Newt will do a good job of framing the debate. No one can do that better than Newt. He will essentially create the outline of ideas for all of the conservative candidate - the recipe for a conservative victory. I think he knows he can't win but he can create the PowerPoint presentation for victory.

That’s a good start on a list. If we were to count one’s genuine opinions, I’d add Mr. Hunter to the list also, but, really, you’ve got a good start there.

I was going for combo of cojones, conservative views and electability - real electability, not feigned mushy moderate electability a la McCain.

Hunter fails on the electability part.

And I have to assume that Dede from New York is going to jump to the front of the line to endorse him and call all her dimwhitted RAT friends stupid for not backing her on it.
