Hamas Official: We Will Not Relinquish Our Arms, Nor a Single Grain of Palestinian Soil

In a May 27, 2010 meeting with senior Hamas clerics, Hamas official in Gaza Salah Al-Bardawil said that the movement would not relinquish its arms and would not negotiate over a single grain of Palestinian soil, and that its strategy is based upon resistance.

He added that Hamas is working to encourage resistance in the West Bank, and has recently formed ties with many elements worldwide to alleviate the siege on Gaza.

He also referred to the Egyptian reconciliation document, saying that this document is impossible to implement and that Hamas has suspended its efforts in this domain.

“Militants Aboard Flotilla Open Fire on IDF Soldiers”

by Rachel Sylvetsky and Eli Stutz

SNIPPET: “The IDF reports that the crew of the Gaza-bound flotilla lay in wait for the IDF to board their vessel and then attacked IDF soldiers, opening fire on them. One crew member reportedly snatched a gun from an IDF soldier and then opened fire on the troops. Another soldier was stabbed in the stomach with a sharp object. The soldier is in moderate condition and was transferred for medical treatment by helicopter to Rambam Hospital in Haifa. Doctors there determined he would require surgery. Three other soldiers were also wounded and were transferred to Tel Hashomer hospital.

According to the IDF spokesperson, the crew of the flotilla were not peaceful humanitarians, but rather militants who were preparing for provocation and violence, and were planning to stage a “lynch” of the Israeli soldiers.”

“Video: Supply of weapons discovered on board the Mavi Marama”
01 June 2010 , 01:15

SNIPPET: “After IDF soldiers succeeded in stopping the attack against them by passengers on board the Mavi Marama ship, the ship was brought to the Ashdod port and arrived in the late hours of Monday evening (May 31). Flotilla participants were brought off the ship and taken for questioning.

Once the activists left the ship, security forces began a thorough search and found a supply of weapons, including knives, Molotov cocktails, detonators, wood and metal clubs, slingshots and rocks, large hammers and sharp metal objects. In addition, gas masks were found, pointing to the prior intention of the ship’s passengers to use violence against IDF soldiers who would then be forced to use riot dispersal methods.”

“Probe reveals flotilla lynchers have ties to Global Jihad”

SNIPPET: “(Video) Interrogation of Gaza aid sail detainees reveals some of passengers recruited specifically to attack Israeli soldiers. Suspects found to be carrying multiple weapons, cash. Meanwhile, Navy launches its own inquiry into raid”

Ron Ben-Yishai
Latest Update: 06.02.10, 00:45 / Israel News

SNIPPET: “VIDEO - The ongoing interrogation of passengers who were aboard the Marmara – the Gaza aid flotilla’s flagship – revealed that the majority of those who attacked the Israeli Naval Commandos boarding the ship have direct and indirect Global Jihad ties.

Israel’s investigation has revealed some 100 people infiltrated the peace and humanitarian aid activists making their way to Gaza, with the explicit design to attack Israeli soldiers using cold arms.”

SNIPPET: “Some among that group are believed to have ties with World Jihad groups, mainly al-Qaeda.

The majority of suspects are Turks, but some are Yemenites and Indonesian. One Yemenite Islamist was photographed with a dagger in his belt prior to the raid.

The suspects are not cooperating with investigators. Most of them have no identification papers, and Israeli authorities are still trying to ascertain their identity.

Nevertheless, it is clear that the majority were recruited by the same IHH handler who organized the flotilla.”

Gaza Terror Flotilla
Pajamas Media ^ | May 31, 2010 | Claudia Rosett
Posted on June 1, 2010 6:08:33 PM PDT by Ooh-Ah

Gaza’s Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh has got the bloody propaganda triumph he was preparing for when he told followers last week that whatever came of the Gaza “aid” flotilla, it would be a win for Hamas [1]– whether the ships reached Gaza, or ended up in a showdown with the Israelis at sea.

At least 10 people, possibly more, are reported dead, after Israeli forces boarded one of the ships, the Mavi Marmara, to stop it running the Israeli blockade on the terrorist enclave of Gaza. The “peace activists” had advertised themselves (scroll down to point 8 in their “mission” statement [2]) as adhering to “nonviolence and nonviolent resistance in word [3]and deed at all times.” This turned out to be a brazen lie. Whatever the “aid” aboard the ship, the “peace activists” were waiting with knives and metal clubs, with which they attacked the Israelis. Though some of the details are still unclear, there are also reports that they made a grab for Israeli guns, and Real Clear Politics — which has posted IDF video footage [4]– says they had firebombs ready as well. (Update: more details in IDF footage here [5]).

Out of this came the headlines the organizers of this terror tour had been looking for. All the usual folks are shocked! shocked! that a deliberate provocation, staged with all sorts of planning by the faux-peace-pals of Hamas, turned into a violent showdown. Reuters reports [6] that France is “profoundly shocked,” Europe “calls for inquiry,” and Turkey’s Iran-lovin’ Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is denouncing the Israelis for “state terrorism.” Washington “regrets loss of life” and is “examining circumstances” — though the basic circumstances here are no mystery whatsoever. They boil down to Israel being left by its craven Western allies to deal solo with the terrorism that boils out of Gaza, the support for that terrorism that flows from Syria and Iran, and the cheerleading — and apparently the helping hand — for this arrangement that emanates from the current Islamic leadership of Turkey.

The United Nations Security Council is of course being called into action. Who’s on that Council? Along with the U.S., the 15 members include China and Russia (both busy arming Iran), Brazil and Turkey (brokers of the recent joke uranium-swap deal that won’t stop the Iranian bomb), and Lebanon (home to the Iranian-fostered terrorist group Hezbollah, now rearming for its next assault on Israel). This is the crowd that has failed abysmally to contain the nuclear bomb projects of totalitarian North Korea and terror-sponsoring Iran. But in treating the self-choreographed mayhem of the Gaza flotilla as the world crisis of the hour, they have perhaps found a topic worthy of their talents.

Taking Washington at its word, that facts might actually matter, the place to start investigating is not with the beleaguered Israelis, but with the origins and funding of this self-styled “freedom flotilla” — which more aptly deserves renaming as the Gaza Terror Flotilla. It appears to have had a multitude of organizers and contributors, from a former prime minister of Malaysia, to — according to Al Jazeera — contributors in Bahrain, Kuwait, and that empire of Middle Eastern peace and stability, Yemen.

But one of the main players appears to be Turkey. It was a Turkish ship, the Mavi Marmara, which after a big sendoff from Turkey apparently took the lead in the flotilla, its passengers professing nonviolence while waiting with knives and metal cudgels to start a fight. And in Turkey, a lead player in this bloody exercise has been a Turkish foundation [7], the radical Islamist IHH, or Foundation for Human Rights, Liberties, and Humanitarian Relief. The IHH enjoys consultative status [8]with the UN as a non-governmental organization, or NGO, has an office in Gaza, and has apparently been taking part in this Gaza stunt with the blessing of Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan. Far from serving as a seal of good housekeeping for the IHH, such ties ought to call into question the judgment of both the UN and Erdogan.

For details on what led a French magistrate in the 1990s to explore IHH connections to terrorist organizations, including al-Qaeda, a piece of required reading is a working paper released in 2006 by the Danish Institute for International Studies: “The Role of Islamic Charities in International Terrorist Recruitment and Financing.” The entire report is illuminating, but for the section on the IHH, scroll to pages 10-14 [9]. When this report was written, the IHH was active in providing “charitable donations” to what were then “rebel-dominated areas of restive Sunni central Iraq.”

The real crisis here is not the fate of the Gaza Terror Flotilla per se, whose organizers have now got the headlines they wanted. The blood is on their hands. The real crisis involves the profound unwisdom of a democratic world that finds it easier to criticize and condemn Israel than to face the mortal threats proliferating in the Middle East. While the headlines, the political grandstanders, and the UN Security Council now focus on this propaganda coup prepared by supporters of Hamas, Hezbollah is rearming in Lebanon, Turkey is engaged in a dangerous shift from its old alliances with the West toward new partnerships with Syria and Iran, and Iran continues its march toward the nuclear bomb. Does anyone in the West really believe that the threat here is to Israel alone? In this latest clash over the terrorist enclave of Gaza, the real question that wants answering is why did no democratic country send its ships to Israel’s aid, to make common cause against this terror-loving flotilla? Or – with the blessings of the UN, Turkey, and armed “peace activists” — are terrorist-run enclaves such as Gaza, dedicated to the extermination of entire nation states, now to become an accepted feature of the international system?

Israel Alone
IBD Editorials ^ | June 1, 2010 | Investors Business Daily staff
Posted on June 1, 2010 5:15:22 PM PDT by Kaslin

Conflict: Following the clash between the “peace flotilla” and Israeli forces on Sunday, two things are clear: One, Israel will defend itself, even if it has to do so alone. And two, Turkey is no longer an ally of the West.

Israel really had no choice but to respond to the clear provocation of the phony Turkish “peace flotilla” that attempted to deliver aid to the terrorist regime now in charge of Gaza. Far from being a fleet of “humanitarian” aid groups, as described in the media, the boats were filled with terrorist-linked Islamist and extreme left groups, bonded by their fanatical hatred of Israel.

And yet the U.N. Security Council predictably condemned what it called the “acts which resulted in the loss” of 10 lives. If it issued an equally harsh condemnation of North Korea’s cold-blooded and unprovoked March 26 attack on a South Korean ship, murdering 46 South Korean sailors, we didn’t hear it.

Others also condemned Israel. China, which hosted North Korean officials just days after their murderous attack on a South Korean ship, expressed fury. Even NATO vowed a probe of Israel.

But why? The ship that Israel boarded, the Mavi Marmara, was filled with Hamas supporters who were eager if not intent on picking a fight with Israeli forces over Israel’s blockade of the Gaza coast. That blockade aimed to keep arms from going to terrorists.

Hamas lobs anywhere from 6,000 to 10,000 missiles a year at Israeli civilian settlements, with nary a peep of criticism from the “world community.”

As video tapes show, Israel warned the ship not to break its blockade. It offered to let the flotilla land in the port of Ashdod and to deliver any legitimate aid to Gaza. Reasonable requests, all denied.

Chavez: Israel is cursed terrorist murderer
Published: 06.03.10, 01:14 / Israel News

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez once again condemned Israel’s raid on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla. In a speech broadcast on Venezuelan television, Chavez said, “Israel is a cursed, terrorist murderer, long live the Palestinian people.”

He also criticized the American response to the raid, which he said was too soft. “The Obama administration condemns terror, as long as it is not carried out by the US or Israel,” he said. (AFP)

English Anti-Semitic Flotilla Nasheed: A Tribute to The Palestinian Humanitarian Activists Who were Martyred, Wounded, and Imprisoned at the Hands of the Zionist Pigs

Written & Sung by Asadullah Alshishani, whom Jawa Report knows very well. Will wait for nasheed to be downloaded then post....maybe. His last one was gawd awful, although it’s damn fun to make fun of this idiot.

Title of of his nasheed: “When the Jew’s Blood Reds my Knife, then my Life is Free from Strife”

Lyrics below fold:

When the Jew’s blood reds my knife
Then my life is free from strife

Hiding behind rocks and trees
I’ll find them with greatest ease
Make them get down on their knees
Slaughter them despite their pleas

Throw them in the ovens hot
Soap and lampshades sold and bought
Made of the Jews that we shot
Mercy’s something I have not

With the bomb and machinegun
Blast at them and watch them run
We will have a lot of fun
Shoot and kill Jews one by one

Rise up, O Salahuddin
Great and brave Mujahideen
Like the Sheikh Ahmed Yassin
For the Love of Filistine

At Al Aqsa we shall meet
After Israel’s defeat
Their dead bodies at our feet
Taste of victory is sweet

Jerusalem is calling me
Asadullah Alshishani
Jihad’s where you’re meant to be
Come and set the captives free

We had no choice, commando who killed 6 tells ‘Post’
By YAAKOV KATZ
06/04/2010 06:13

SNIPPET: “The 15th and last naval commando from Flotilla 13 (the Shayetet) to rappel down onto the ship from the helicopter, S. said on Thursday that he was immediately attacked by what the IDF has called “the mob of mercenaries” aboard the vessel, just like the soldiers who had boarded just before him.

Looking to his side, he saw three of his commanders lying wounded – one with a gunshot wound to the stomach and another with a gunshot wound to the knee. A third was lying unconscious; his skull was fractured by a devastating blow with a metal bar.

As the next in the chain of command, S., who has been in the Shayetet for three and a half years, immediately took charge.

He pushed the wounded soldiers up against the wall of the upper deck and created a perimeter of soldiers around them to begin treating their wounds, he said. He then arranged his men to form a second perimeter, and pulled out his 9 mm. Glock pistol to stave off the charging attackers and to protect his wounded comrades.

The attackers had already seized two pistols from the commandos, and fired repeatedly at them.”
