Seems he fell over the edge after being tazered by cops. It appears to me that he took the jump of his own volition. But I can't understand why they rushed in on him instead of waiting things out.

his stunt skills could use some improvement.
Geez......as they approached him at the bottom of the cliff, they had guns drawn still. Did they actually think he was going to jump up and rush them with the sword after that fall ?????

Hubby and I used to live a couple of miles from that area, and we’ve walked up the easy side to the top of that hill. Brave people rock climb up that face, although that may have been banned because someone else got killed trying to climb it a few years ago IIRC.
