The counties which are at least partially within the 6th C.D. of South Carolina - James Clyburn’s district - comprise what is known as the “Black Belt” - a largely non-white congressional district. Clyburn got 90% of the vote in the 6th Democratic primary, 48k-ish votes to about 5k. In those same counties, Alvin Green got 50k-ish votes (about 1/2 of his statewide total). If Clyburn wants to question the legitimacy of those votes, I think he’s going to have to question his own votes and their legitimacy.
The magnet theory has been around for years.
A touch-screen monitor (CRT) display can be affected by magnets.
I question if the democrats are using a new twist to an old trick to get their guy in office. After all they have done it in the past several times such as Al Frankin that dip from Minnesota.
Regardless of how many years the story has been around.
Physics is physics. 186,000 MPS isn't just a good idea. It's the law.

How did this happen???
(1)
Vic Rawl thought he had this in the bag and decided to keep his powder dry for the general election. He didn’t do the necessary leg work.
(2)
Green had either a familiar name, was on top of the list, or people just got lazy and said “whatever” when they touched the screen (the “Homer Simpson” effect).
(3)
Weird doo-doo happens (lunar surface was beaming “bozo-rays” on to the voter’s brains).
He won, you lost....get over it Mr. Rawl.
The stupidity of the accusation will not matter to the RATS and their lapdog, the Treason Media. It will be treated as the Holy Gospel.
Did you ever actually work on something like that? Ever?
Get that slimy heat sink white gunk all over you?

The voters thought he was another Al Green.
I think here in Ohio the Electronic machines rank the names equally. If there are only two they alternate. (three or more would just keep sliding down the list, and the one on the bottom would move to the top. So 1st Voter Green appears first, next voter Green Appears 2nd and so on) I know there was much arguing and discussion over that issue in Ohio (at least that is what the Local Republican Committee members told me anyway.)

Never worked on voting machines, but I have worked on computer monitors (CRT's) as well as touchscreen monitors. I really don't see how a magnet could alter votes, but I won't say it can't be done.
I think the thing about erasing Computers with a magnet comes from the days when you they used magnetic tape. We used tapes just like them in recording studios and sometimes people would use a bulk eraser to erase the tapes.

No you cannot. Creating DLG’s and making them function to the system layer is a fixed product. At best the machine would freeze. This is a stupid allegation by a stupid rat that was not supported regardless of his supposed thinking.
Even though alphebetically, Clyburn would be placed first on the ballot, if Greene instead came first, then Greene would have an advantage. There are enough stupid enough voters who will vote for the first name on the ballot. In any case, stupidity played the largest role.
I heard the most logical explanation here on a prior FR thread. Greene’s name was at the top of the ballot for the Dems. His was the name picked most by luck of the draw. People too lazy to think for themselves had just gone to vote for the top Dem on the list.
How would I know if the magnets were being carried by Pubbies or dims?
Oops. Clyburn is now giving away Dem party secrets...
That's why he's #3 in the House. Nobody said you needed a brain to be in the Dem leadership.
