I’d have to have a Zell Miller before I’d back any candidate from any party that is pro-abortion, pro-gun control, pro-gay, and pro-secularism.

The verb “to hate,” in its variety of forms and derivatives, is used entirely too much to characterize simple disagreements or differences of opinion.

“As an independent conservative, I’ve no use for the Rino party. And I have little hope it will change into a conservative party. Therefore, I intend to support the most conservative candidate who is also pro-life, pro-gun, pro-God, and pro-family.”

Exactly - support the conservative candidates, not the party. In fact, I go further, and say, if GOP supports a RINO instead of a conservative, vote CommieCrate as retaliation for GOP betrayal. Go ahead and flame me all you want, but I detest RINOs and their GOP supporters much more than CommieCrates. Why, you might inquire? Because RINOs destroy the opportunity to build an effective conservative party, a far worse prospect (crime?) than a CommieCrate party.

See #21. The only democrat I’d support would be one with the fire and backbone of a Zell Miller.

If it’s rino, liberal or someone else, I’ll go with a conservative out of one of the minor parties. Period.

I insist on voting for a conservative.

Because Tom Delay was hounded out of office with the Democrats charges from Texas(rallying conservatives), conservatives lost sight that Tom Delay led the House in a pork and spend strategy the mid Bush years.. Even Bush complained about it but went along because he had his own spending priorities he wanted and didnt want to be seen as fighting congressional Republicans until after the 2006 loss.

Once Pelosi and Reid took over the sky was the limit for Bush approved spending. Bush wanted his War spending at any cost, then was his stimulus and bailout spending priorities, and democrats planned on blaming the deficits on Bush which they effectively did as they ramped up historical spending and debt.

I respect your point, and third party conservative vote is better than a CommieCrate vote. However, if third party conservative is not available, then I shall vote CommieCrate before voting RINO. This is the main point I was trying to make.

I’m am not a member of the Constitution party, but any candidate of theirs will always be conservative. The problem is that they don’t nearly have candidates in each race.

Of all the third parties, the Constitution party offers the best hope by far. IMHO

I have donated to them in the past.

As of today I`m on sabbatical from Ingraham`s show. the endless hype for this book is nauseating, and the excerpts are shockingly unfunny or insightful. The few minutes with Coulter yesterday were an oasis. As for Lauer`s point, he wasn`t that far off. I don`t see the American people who were ga-ga for The One suddenly loving Republican policies [what policies?]. Peopledon`t like what`s happening and as usual just want CHANGE.

The key to making the American people stop running back and forth in fear and panic--lay it on the line, create and/or enforce policies in line with a conservative philosophy. Have the courage of our convistions--if you truly believe conservative policies will succeed then legislate conservatively, andpeople will see that success and vote conservative.

Your Zell Miller example is an excellent prototype. Reaching a little further back, I’d say Henry “Scoop” Jackson would be another. Here in OK, we have Dan Boren as a Congressman (D) and sits on the NRA board. He is a mixed bag and his daddy, former US Sen. David Boren, was fully in the Obama corner for the 2008 primaries and Convention.
