Then stage international protests condemning Saudi Arabia's 100% intolerance of all other faiths (no religious texts, no places of worship that are not Islamic). Condemn those muslim nations that impose a death penalty on muslims who convert away from Islam. Condemn the Saudis for having a death penalty for all non-muslims who'd dare enter the segregated cities of Mecca and Medina (it matter because all of those peaceful tolerant muslims bow to this segregated city every day).
Want to show your good nature? YOU go first. We do not have to "submit" to Islam to show YOU are tolerant.

I’ll go along with a “Muslim holiday” if it’s like a “tax holiday”. The rest of us get a holdiay from them.
The Saudi funding of this mosque is likewise a violation of our constitution. It is a foreign State imposing religion on the US.
There is ZERO tolerance for other faiths in the Islamic theocratic State of Saudi Arabia.
Easter is always a day off as it falls on Sunday. Good Friday is no longer a holiday for all people.
Religious Islam can be whatever it wants to be (without the holy war jihad, slavery, and honor killings). No tolerance needs to be shown POLITICAL Islam which is the political system of rule of a dead conquering warlord.
Here you show a typical Western vision in drawing a distinction that is no difference. "Political" Islam IS "religious" Islam; the two are inseparable. Only in America are Church and State divorced. In most other countries, but especially in Muslim enclaves, the religion is the government and vice versa. Tolerating one means tolerating both. And since a Sharia government is intolerable, Islam is incompatible with American concepts of liberty.

He (referring to Imam Khalid Latif who wants the legimate Muslim Holiday). I did read the article and stand bt my statement. Perhaps you should re-read the first sentence.

And the great part about this is that while the government may close schools and government facilities, everyone else is free to ignore it and go about their businesses.
