Kerry did nothing illegal, but he’s a hypocrite nonetheless.

Kerry is a hugh, lying, corrupt, idiot-—laughing his way all the way to the bank even without ketchup money.

I think conservatives mostly mishandled this issue as well.

As far as I’m concerned, I think we should APPLAUDE Senator Kerry for doing everything he legally can do to lower his tax bill.

All I ask is that he and the Dems recognize that the rest of us legitimately want to do the same.

Why is it that one lesson Dems never take away from a situation such as this is that TAXES CHANGE BEHAVIOR? They continue to think that they can tax and tax and no one will react in ways to avoid those taxes (legally and illegally).

For example, they impose a monstrous paperwork requirement on small business so as, in their minds, to ensure vendors filling orders over $600 pay taxes. Yet it never occurs to them how many orders will now ring up at $599.

So, personally, I thank Senator Kerry for modeling the true fact that taxes do, indeed, change behavior, and that — no matter how much money one has — it’s human nature for people to want to conserve their money for use as they, not the government, see fit.

Now if only Kerry and the Rats would see that we little people feel the same. Moreover, this is all the Tea Party is about -— saying hey, Washington, we’re sick and tired of your exhorbitant “boat taxes” and we want more of our own money!

Yes, we should be reasonable there was no violation of law..

a google News search shows "Results 1 – 100 of about 965 for john kerry tax". I betcha the state controlled American media (SCAM) would put 10,000 legs on that story if it was about a Republican.

Let the media's 1960s Marxist-Alinsky street/campus revolutionary rabble and their ideological issue first show that they can be reasonable.. they cannot. They play by Alinsky's Rules For Spoiled Brats.

Kerry “I intended to pay the yacht tax, after I decided not to pay the yacht tax?”

Why is a leftist not redistributing his own money and instead buying such an expensive boat? Really, he could house at least 20 on there at minimum.... in this brave new Bolshevik world.

That's all well and good but doesn't Effin' Kerry REPRESENT the peoples of Massachusetts? Maybe he would enjoy living in Rhode Island - but he doesn't. Avoiding taxes is cool - but insisting the rich pay more, while avoiding paying the fair share, doesn't go over too good with the peon voters.

If Lurch did nothing illegal will the state take his payoff? I seriously doubt it, more BS from the elites.

You can pay in as much as you wish - above what is expected - without complaint.

What about the penalties?

About now, he’s gotta be thinking, “If I had not been a Senator, I could have avoided that tax, and no one would have raised a peep, and if they did, then so what?”

Of course, he’ll deduct it from his federal income tax.

You don't have to agree. It's true.
