President Obama, who reportedly hasn't driven an inch himself since taking office. . .

Did he drive an 'inch' before he took office? Does he actually drive. . .have a Driver's License?

We saw GW in his truck. . .what did/does Obama drive; and where has he actually driven. . .bet he has never driven, across America. . .from Occidental College to Columbia - or Yale. . .or Yale to Chicago. . .Maybe; but he looked like an alien in that car.

Rube Goldberg designed process machines that actually worked.

To compare the Volt with the Edsel is to insult the Edsel.

The Edsel was conceived, developed and constructed with PRIVATE funds by a PRIVATE company. The chief reason it failed was because of an economic slump, not because of any major design flaws. It was far ahead of its time.

The Volt was designed by committee using PUBLIC funds, and is nothing like what was promised when it was announced.

Apples and lemons.

There was very nasty political cartoon in my local paper about the vote this morning. Beside pointing out the obvious lack of charging stations it had an Onada bumper sticker on it.

The good part of all this is that it will shut up the people who claim that the EV-1 was killed by some sort of unspecified conspiracy.

Sell the Volt for $15,000 or less (without government subsides) and it would be a winner.
