No no, you’re not posting a duplicate. It looks as if Fox40 is prolonging this story because of a dislike for Palin but maybe I’m wrong.

the media was trying to spin a normal speaking engagement into a major scandal. Something that DEM do all the time, but somehow its a scandal because Palin is doing it
its just like the $400k clothing controvesy. Never mind that what OBama/Biden spend on their clothing. They probably spent just as much, but the media never cared about hwo much clothign the DEM spent. It annoyed me that the Mccain campaign never bothered to ask the media “Hey, tell us what the DEM spent” If you’re going to make a scandal out of $400k, at least make a comparison. Obama had a $700+million war chest. He spent ALOT of money
LOL LOL..This state is broke..and THIS somehow became a priority for Jerry Brown. As much as I dislike Whitman, she has my vote. This state would be even more messed up if Brown won, and that says a lot since this state is well, you know how bad it is here

The media had tried to make her sound like a diva, requiring accommodations at a ‘luxury hotel’. There’s nobody who would rightly consider a 3-star Doubletree as a ‘luxury hotel’. I mean, did they want her staying at a Days Inn?

We’ve probably never seen a contract from a paid speaker at a college—whether public or private. And of course she doesn’t want the whole thing taped or broadcast—what paid professional speaker does?

I read a post on FR not long ago that the investigation into the controversy had revealed no wrong doing on the part of CSU Stanislaus or Sarah Palin. This news may be about the release of the contract, but the underlying reasons for the "story" are old news.
