OK, I’ll excuse you. If he doesn’t know if she’s innocent or guilty, she doesn’t necessarily “deserve” anything.
Furthermore there can be a good argument made for your closest family not releasing public statements about you 5 minutes after you are arrested. He’s a typical shallow “public official” who thinks his private life should be lived in press releases.
IF he knows she’s guilty, then maybe he was complicit in the whole thing.

The reactions to her photo are ridiculous as well, especially if that is her mug shot. The woman is married 28 years, must ne at least 50 years old, and it’s an umflattering expression in the picture. She looks perfectly ok for her age.

If you read the article, Mrs. Brock has been taking her boy toy and his girlfriend to her house, so that boyfriend and girlfriend can have (safe) sex.
I wonder if Mr. Brock ‘knows’ the girlfriend. That would tie everything up into a nice, neat, illicit package.
