If indeed the woman committed statutory rape (or child molestation as the boy was under 17 when this happened allegedly starting @ 14), then she must get the same punishment that an adult man would get if he knowingly or with reasonable knowledge has sex with a 15 year old girl. But evil feminists such as lawyer Gloria Allred & her daughter Lisa Bloom look the other way when women only get probation for child molestation. Again if indeed this woman committed what she is accused of, then she deserves harsh punishment even if Gloria Allred doesn’t like it.

You are being unfair to the poor guy. Sometimes people do crazy things and you realize they were not the people you thought they were. The police say they have text messages. That is pretty strong evidence to deny. Her husband is a public servant who does not really have the luxury of a “no comment” statement.
The kid is 17. If the inappropriate behavior with him started this year it would just be a nasty scandal. However, it has been going on for 3 year so it started when he was 14. If we are going to have an age of consent law, then it needs to be a bright line. Any crossing of the line must be punished.

My opinion is that God got it right and the legislature got it wrong.
Of course that would still make her an alleged adulteress, but my guess is her husband hasn’t given her any affection in 10 years.
