Something is cooking in MA-4. I held a Sean sign at the polls for 3 hours. We had between 4-8 Sean sign holders and the 1 Barney sign showed up after a few hours. Repub signs outnumbered dem the entire time. AND Obama won my town by 26 points and Brown lost in my town!! I know this doesn’t provide election results, but there’s something very different.

Those areas are populated by fellow travellers and Barney does pay attention to his base back home

I don’t make fun of speech impediments

It is not a speech impediment if is face is damaged as a result of voluntary participation in unspeakable acts.

Gays only make up about 3% of the population in the USA. There is no way they influence any election.

Well, my first question is if anyone has done a survey of the Boston Bath Houses to see what their customer load looks like today.

(In José Jimenez voice:) "Ohhh, don't say 'customer load' about a bathhouse!"

Brookline, thats where JFK was born. Some how, we know where he was born, unlike other presidents.

Poll workers trapped in building as living dead try to break in and vote.

It’s important to remember that Scott Brown, a mere 10 months ago, carried Frank’s congressional district with 60% of the vote.

And Scott Brown had a very high turnout if my memory is correct.....

IMHO this bodes well for Sean.

Watch Dr. Steele vs. Dingell. If he takes down Dingell it maybe even a bigger story since they got zero zip nada help from the GOP/RNC etc. Talk about grass roots taking down a legend of the DNC and longest stnading member they now have in the House.

How in the world could Frank....be well thought of?

We'll find out in a few hours just how popular he is now.

Newton/Brookline is very liberal country. Also, there's a generational component: in the 70s and 80s young liberal professionals organized to throw out the older generation. Afterward they had a lot emotionally invested in Barney and they were joined by the next generation of young liberal professionals.

By this point, though, if Barney Frank gets reelected it will be because his constituents really don't like Republicans, and think that he may be a bastard but he's their bastard. If he gets defeated it's because they know he's just a bastard in it for himself.

I did notice a certain amount of eye-rolling when the Boston Globe repeated Barney's mendacious self-defense and endorsed him. Even some people who share his political point of view are sick of him. Maybe there may even be enough people like that to defeat him this year.

That’s a logical conclusion and I share it, but I’m so used to us being disappointed I don’t want to trust that conclusion, especially in MA. I’m in CA, so I’ve borne the brunt of really dumb voters and a really weak pub party for years.

I think Sean definitely has a good chance.

Unfortunately (fortunately), I do not live in that district so can not vote for Sean Bielat, but I’ve got to say, most elections in MA are ridiculous because these liberal incumbents run unopposed....this the first time since I moved here over 15 yrs ago that there are actual, viable candidates challenging them... I think heavy turnout is a sign that people feel they actually have a choice. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking on my part, but I think there is a lot of that going on.

Also, as a side note, I’ve been wearing my patriot tea kettle earrings and getting some positive feedback.

I agree something going on in MA. I'm helping a republican state rep. candidate in Seekonk/Rehoboth. Word up from party big boys is that Patrick is getting hammered (exit polls). I believe it...

I refuse to get my hopes up about Bielat, or O'Donnell for that matter. But if either of them win, I will probably burst into tears of shock and joy at the level of corruptocRat refudiation.

Maybe some of them have figured out that Bawney is largely responsible for the housing meltdown.

Sean will win. Too many people with money (like the people in Newton and Brookline) have been burned by Bwaney’s BS.

Sean wins by 2-4%.
