Comment #124 points to an AntiMullah article that criticizes the seizure of a website.
When Alan at AntiMullah came to publish another article a little later he discovered that AntiMullah which was up on screen at the time could not be accessed and a screen came up that stated there was no broadband connection available to the site.
Thus AntiMullah had been taken down.
HOWEVER! Within a tense minute or so another message popped up stating that the problem had been resolved and to close down the browser and get back online and the site would be back.
Alan wrily says his first thought was that with the new time on his hands of suddenly not having to manage the site, he would have more time for the book he has started.
He got Dragon Naturally Speaking 11 Premium by Nuance and a compatible Olympus DS2400 audio recorder to help with the project while on the move.
Only a website called Recorders.com knew enough to put the two pieces together, even offering reasonable guidance on how to use both after Olympus and Nuance failed to provide any useful interface information - despite many requests for support of their products.
And the icing on the cake, the recorder cost was about $50 less than anywhere else online. Class act, rare “go to” efficiency and product back up by Recorders.
They did a long, long time ago.
Fro all of these “new” procedures and protocols, you have to ask the question...
What ever happened to the poor shlup who posted the “old” “classified” procedures and protocols on the internet a while back...Anyone remember that “mistake”???

People today had problems getting online to Free Republic.
Enlarging and expanding this program to other modes of transportation is but but a poorly veiled attempt by this Marxist Muslim bastard to create the Civilian Security Force he threatened us with before the general election which put him in office.
And if securing TRANSPORTATION is important - SO TOO IS THE ELECTORAL PROCESS AND PLACES PEOPLE VOTE AND THE VERY BALLOTS THEMSELVES. The FUTURE target of Homeland Security Thugs.

What really disturbs me about the T.S.A. issue is that these employees are screened about two weeks into their tenure and asked if they have any discretions regarding their duties (i.e. touching around chidren’s private areas). If they express any discomfort they are likely to be replaced by people more “confident” in performing these tasks. Potentially, you end up with an army of agents that are just fine with touching children’s groins “protecting” you and your families. I also know that these scanners that are the airports and likely to spread to other venues are the main vehicle for compiling a biometrics database for the massive biometric surviellance grid they are setting up. All of the new traffic cameras that have been placed at every major traffic stop have this technology and are part of this grid, another fine product of Big Brother Inc.!
