Of course he’s offended. He doesn’t have a sense of humor and this imitation is spot on. Obama can’t laugh at himself, so it’s impossible for him to see people laughing at an imitation of him. Knowing that he hates it, makes me enjoy it all the more. In fact, I think I’ll send the link to everyone on my email list.

ROFL.

I stand corrected.

Obama’s mother was white....and a communist like his dear old daddy, grand parents, best friend and wife.

Do I see a political pattern here:-)

Rahm Emanuel is gone, Larry Summers is gone!!! I could go on and on. Obama has the likes of moron Joe Biden (dumbest person in the universe) bending his ear. That my friends is political death for anyone. Obama should face the facts and resign. He is a failure across the board, he is street dumb, and he is weak on every topic except giving other people’s (taxpayers) money away to those who thrive on his ill gotten “stash” & contribute nothing to our country and society other then to put their hands out for “government cash”, and.... he is turning America into a third world country from whence he came. Forget the Republicans, the present group has no guts and is whimp city from A-Z. However the new crop coming in just might just do Obama in. I say the Democrat Party needs to force Obama to resign, or there will be no Democrat Party come November, 2012!!! My predictions have been right on the money over and over again. Obama cares naught for America or “all” Americans, he’s lost his brain mojo, and he never was the least bit competent or experienced to be the POTUS. Democrat idiots, broom this guy, he is toast and bad for our country!!!!

We are laughing at Obama because comedy is the best defense against a tyrant. (See Mel Brooks, “The Producers”)

However, I think most of us posting here agree with Mr. Tracinski

“Americans are learning that Obama is an ineffectual leader by the standard of achieving America’s success, prosperity, and security. What they need to learn next is the terrifying truth that these are not his standards.” —Robert Tracinski

Morning AmericanInTokyo,
I think Juan McLame was nominated due to states that allowed crossover votes.
It enabled dems to help nominate the old coot who as it turned out was the least effective candidate possible.

The idea that, in a slow economic climate, wealthy Americans will spend their tax cut money, spurring growth, is dubious at best. The idea that tax cuts to individuals will lead companies to hire more, despite the relative small % of the GDP these cuts comprise, is laughable. Even though the richest of the rich are enjoying the lowest income tax rate they’ve had since the Truman administration, they aren’t hiring.

The Bush tax cuts largely went to those whose propensity to invest caused the move of jobs overseas, while at the same time cutting the incomes of Americans forced to compete for these jobs.

How anyone can say this helped us as a society, or promoted “growth,” that’s really the great beyond.

Anti-Offshoring Bill Blocked in Senate Washington, D.C. (September 28, 2010)

Senate Republicans blocked a bill on Tuesday that would have denied tax breaks to companies that move jobs offshore and provide companies with a two-year holiday from their share of Social Security payroll tax withholding for each employee they hire to replace a worker at a foreign-based facility.
....

Republicans objected that the law would raise taxes on large U.S. companies

"I think Juan McLame was nominated due to states that allowed crossover votes."

Garbage. Everybody talks about "crossover votes", but I simply don't believe that any such thing happens. The nomination of McLame is EXACTLY the "normal pattern" of nomination in the Republican party....it was "his turn". Remember Bob Dole??

No kidding. During the Bush years we had the largest tax cuts and slowest job growth of modern times

And we had that outrageous 4.6% - 5.2% unemployment rate.

“Obama has made it known that he is deeply offended”

As Dennis Miller said at the beginning of the Obama administration, “For me it has nothing to do with the color of Barack Obama’s skin and everything to do with the thinness of it.”

The problem is that economic activity depends on certainty. Right now there is no certainty as far as business is concerned.

Zackly. You don't build a building, hire people, etc. for "maybe the next two years". Add to this the daily threat some agency, tort lawyer, etc. could come in and shut you down with lawsuits and red tape on the flimsiest of bases, and who in their right mind would plunk down years of savings and hard work?

A lot of truth in what you said.
Like Bob Dull, well he’s hung around so long, it’s his turn?

Also wife and I just got back from visiting New Orleans a few weeks ago.
Place was booming and loads of tourists everywhere.
Louisiana is doing fine.

I think that was part of the reason. The government-run American media also blacked out good conservatives like Duncan Hunter, and pushed McCain hard and consistently, 24/7. Then you had the state GOP party apparatus, which also blocked good conservatives in that race and gave undue help, in my opinion, to the RINO/Moderate likes of McCain and Giuliani, etc.

Ev Reeman is right and you're posting utter nonsense but you have the democrats talking points down pat, --- wealthy Americans, richest of the rich --- complete with a link to an article that illustrates the idiot Leftist legislation, which was mercifully voted down.

Of course, you neglected to note the tax on corporations is the second highest in the world, so moving a facility off-shore makes perfect financial sense, given the fact that American companies also have facilities and workers in the US and that they also employ American workers overseas.

Then, there's also the problem I will call, "unions," which drive-up the costs of every product and service, and never mind mentioning "healthcare", OSHA and the littany of other government regulations that impede doing business in the good ole USA.

You betcha, democrats have all the answers, according to you and your sketchy 1 and one half pages worth of posting spanning almost 2 years here. Tax back to the Clinton days, which enjoyed that Clinton Tech Bubble. Truly.

HISTORY SHOULD deal harshly with Bill Clinton. Throughout his terms, real wages stagnated, manufacturing and service jobs moved overseas in large numbers, and the middle class was squeezed.

I think you forgot your /sarc tag...or you actually believe what you typed. Of course, you throw out ‘modern times’ without defining it. I’d include ‘modern times’ to be the period since the Federal Reserve was founded, which would put FDR and Obama in the bottom spot, right ahead of Carter (gosh, wonder what THOSE three might have in common...).

Your mileage may differ of course. One could consider Carter’s term to be a throwback to Medieval days of guilds and mercantilism and thus not be formally ‘modern times’. But that wouldn’t be really fair to say, would it?

You have more fortitude than me. I change the channel, turn off the TV, or leave the room.
My wife is even more adamant than me.
Thank goodness she wears soft slippers around the house or we'd have a hole in the TV screen. :)
