We were in Statuary Hall when she shuffled through with her entourage, staring at the floor, not making eye contact as she made her way to her office. We also had the stupefying experience of sitting in the Senate Gallery while Al Franken sat reading the newspaper, looking up occasionally to recognize someone as John Kerry shuffled papers.
