Perhaps you can explain something. We know his mother was a US citizen. Why isn’t he a US citizen because of her?

There are different types of citizenship, not all of which allow a person to legally hold the presidency.
Natural Born Citizenship has specific requirements to avoid any allegiances to foreign nations.
We knew what grades Bush and Kerry got in college.

If Frank Marshall Davis was the father, he was over 18 and that would qualify Barry as “natural born” — both parents American citizens, both living in one of the United States (Hawaii became a state in 1960). However, Barry would be the bastard child of a Davis-Dunham birth — provided his name appears on the long form BC (unproven to exist).
This may be what Barry is hiding — and it would show him to be a complete fraud — for as much as that would matter to his Obots.
What is certain: Barack Obama, Sr. was NOT a U.S. citizen; he was Kenyan and considered a British subject. The son of a British subject + underage U.S. citizen = not a “natural born” U.S. citizen. Barry maintains Barack Obama, Sr. appears on the not proven long form BC. If such a document exists, Barry would NOT be a ‘natural born” U.S. citizen because of a foreign father and underage American mother.

the issue is not his mother. the issue is that he probably had a dual citizenship because of his father. and if that is so, then he needed to renounce his foreign citizenship when he became an adult. Instead, he probably used his foreign citizenship to gain admission to college as a foreign exchange student and used it for passports. His dual citizenship would negate his “natural born” status as an American citizen and dis-allow him from being eligible to be president. the founding fathers were quite specific about this. they did not want any dual citizens to be president because of “dual” loyalties. Therefore, the law reads that if you accept naturalization in a foreign country, then you lose :natural born” status in the USA.
Who is his daddy? we need to see his long form birth certificate. Obama is hiding something. what is it?
