But his approach to the office is that of a street thug.

Exactly. But we have never, in our entire existence, been governed by a street thug and his cohort (in this case, Ayers, Code Pink and various under-the-radar Muslims) and I think even some of the leftists among us may be having a wake-up call right now.

It's probably too much to hope that this will result in Obama being dragged out by his heels, but maybe it will result in a palace coup where other people (leftists but still at least marginally American) send Bambi off with $20 to buy a hot dog and watch the game on TV.

And now let the purge begin on Obama’s conspirators in the Egyptian army begin. Now neither our allies nor revolutionaries there of will trust Obama -Obama is now officially ineffectual universally. Who would have predicted? /sarc.

BHO doesn't know or care what is going on. This article makes the case quite well:

Obama Clueless

I think they’re on the same page—they’re just all flipping and flopping together. Has a single one of our traditional allies come out in support of Obama’s multi-day call for Mubarak to step down immediately? I can’t think of any—rather, those who have let word out have all intimated their preference for the contrary.

Thanks for the article.

It makes him look almost Nixonian.

If it is accurate, these are dangerous times indeed.

I would not have guessed that it was possible for the Kenyan Clown to appear more feckless or incompetent than during his bumbling of the Zelaya affair in Honduras, but lo and behold, it appears that was just a warm-up for an even more embarrassing pratfall in Egypt.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? Is Obama crashing the Super Bowl? Scheduled an interview with BOR, unable to bear that there might be an event greater than his oneness? Holy wardrobe malfunctions, Batman, what kind of stunt is this?

Wow - ‘feckless’ and ‘pratfall’ in the same sentence, which, coincidentally, is factually correct...

Kudos!!!

Instead, his concept is that, as the POTUS -- and, thus, the most "powerful" man in the world -- he issues decrees. People will then bend to his will and what he wants to have happen, happens.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder: a condition in which people have an inflated sense of self-importance and an extreme preoccupation with themselves.

My husband has been wondering how the Egyptian protesters have been carrying this on for ten days without any porta potties, food supplies or roofs over their heads? I am sure that all these protesters do not live in Cairo, but if they do, are they all going home to use the bathroom and eat?

In my business I have met Frank Wisner. I thought him the perfect State Department officious prig. Nonetheless, like his father, he is loaded with talent. And, he is right. You want stability, Mubarak must stay through the next elections.

Frank Wisner has forgotten more about Egypt than Obama could learn in a lifetime.

Wisner met with Mubarak. They are long time friends, which is why Wisner was selected to talk with him. Wisner retired a long time ago from the State Department. He is one of the best diplomats this country has ever produced.

Wisner's advocacy for reaching out to Mubarak was on display at a private and off-the-record meeting on Egyptian succession held last summer at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, where Wisner made several pro-Mubarak arguments, according to two people who attended the session.

"He's the exact wrong person to send. He is an apologist for Mubarak," said one Washington Middle East hand who saw Wisner as unlikely to demand that Mubarak must step down or else suffer consequences from Washington -- or, failing that, deliver a strong rebuke.

But Dunne said that since Wisner is "trusted and liked" by Mubarak and others he'll be meeting with, he's the perfect pseudo-envoy. "He's ... someone who could deliver a tough message if he's given one to deliver," she said.

Wisner and Hillary probably went to Munich because they have no communication with Mubaraek except through an intermediary like Germany or Britain.

“What’s truly astonishing to me, is that all of the waffling and Large Statements by Obama and his team, have evidently been made without good information — and/or whatever information they had, was trumped by Obama’s typically idealistic thinking.”

Oh come on, he’s never done that before.

“I don’t know – not having been there and not seeing all the facts – what role race played in that, but I think it’s fair to say, number one, any of us would be pretty angry; number two that the Cambridge police acted stupidly ...”
