I wonder what causes kids of Conservatives to become Liberal. It can't be their upbringing. Bush's daughter Barbara is another example with her ad endorsing gay marriage (although some might dispute just how Conservative George Bush is).
Liz Cheney is a notable exception. Dick must be so proud of her.

Maybe he could just let the centenary be about his father and not him, what he thinks about this or that?

This little twerp had little good to say about his Dad when he was alive.
Now the opportunist that he is he’s trying to sell books on his Dad’s name, Ron has no shame.

Ronald Reagan apparently did know how to choose wise advisors, because his administration did not “go south” during the last years when, as some aver, he was beginning to lose his personal marbles. Contrast this with Obama and his cast of czar-idiots.

Ron couldn’t empty his father’s boots if there were instructions attached to the bottom.

That is kind of self defeating isn’t it. If he makes a case that his father was a nobody, well now Ron would be the son of a nobody who hasn’t done anything but carp about that nobody, which if he was a nobody would be wasted breath.

My brother seems to want [to] sell out his father to sell books. Michael Reagan on Twitter. Even though Michael Reagan was adopted, he's twice the son Ron ever was. Bless you, Michael, for standing up for your dad and honoring his legacy.

Does anyone other than Nancy care what Prescott the ballerina has to say? He’s spent his life trying to destroy his father’s legacy, so now he thinks he can comment on who can fill his father’s shoes?

How is it the adopted son is more like his father then the biological son?
Michael Reagan loved his Dad and Ron continues to be an idiot.

Gawd, what a jealous little punk.
President Reagan probably detested the little slimeball.

Ron not making much sense here. If Ronald Reagan was a little man, then it would follow that “anybody” could “fill his shoes.”

Come again? I've had a long day and my brain is mush, but are you saying that you agree with Ron that Reagan had Alzheimer's while in office?

Almost reads like some of the dysfunctional royal families of Britain, doesn’t it.
Now, Ronald Reagan Sr. did start out as a Democrat. Did his son resent that he switched to the GOP when the Democrats proved to be too leftist for comfort?

Boy, his high intelligence that Ronjr wrote about in his book, is really on display in this quote, isn’t it? Man, what a fantastic argument and turn of phrase. I mean this is so great that I am sure people will be quoting this for 20 years after his death, and it will completely overshadow his fathers, “tear down this wall!” statement! Wow! I can see how this type of political discussion would silence his father./sarc

There isnt one replacement for Reagan, but there are millions who believe in the great ideas that he espoused, said SARAH PALIN. Theres a whole Army of patriotic David's out there across this great country, ready to stand up and speak out in defense of liberty.
