Sarah Palin is not worthy to fill my father's boots, says Ron Reagan. No, and neither is he

It is sad. Ronjr can not make money on his own two feet, he has to sell his dad’s memory to make money.

He is a huge disappointment to his mother, I am sure.

The level of disgrace displayed by Ron Reagan is almost shakespearean in magnitude. Like the tragedies of old that describe powerful and respected families that must tolerate the childish antics of one behavioral misfit, who remains a source of constant embarrassment and deserved focus of disgust and ridicule throughout the entire play.

He “might” have been suffering from early effects of the malady. I had an aunt who died with advanced Alzheimer’s, and it was clear to family a good fifteen years before she passed away that her memory was slipping more than normal. She would have a hard time writing down times and dates told to her on the telephone. It was not till ten years following she began to notice it herself.

Yes it is self defeating, and very pathetic.

Hard to imagine he’s President Reagan’s son, the apple rolled over a cliff.

And, apparently, not very faithful a rendition of his father’s memories. Michael’s accounts will probably outsell these.

I agree. I hope it didn’t sound like I was dissing President Reagan. It’s just that a hero isn’t a hero until he does a heroic act. Reagan turned the country around despite a democRat congress and a relentless antagonistic press.

I would like to see Palin have a chance to prove her mettle.

Ronald Reagan was one of the greatest Presidents ever, such a wonderful man, but for whatever reason, had two dumbasses for children(Except Michael Reagan, who even though not a Reagan by blood has shown that he is a TRUE Reagan). Just goes to show, you can raise them with the best of your ability but sometimes they just don’t come out right. Patty Davis also went on her Michele Bachmann/Sarah Palin rant yesterday, saying that her Dad was an ivy league scholar compared to those two. What do you expect from a woman who showed off her ta ta’s for the world to see in Playboy magazine. Like Michael said, Ron was an embarrassment when his father was alive, and he is an even bigger embarrassment now.

How is it the adopted son is more like his father then the biological son?

Ronnie was dropped on his head as a baby?

As far as Michael goes, maybe growing up with a backstabbing brother (because I believe Ron has always been that way) made him come to his father's defense and appreciate what a wonderful man he was.

I believe that of living memory, Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush were the two most dignified presidents America has had. One would almost have to go back to the founders (e.g. George Washington) to find that kind of dignity.

While great, no mortal man is perfect. What would Ronald Reagan say had he survived and did so in sound mind... who knows? Probably something like “the baton is yours now, argggh who is this Obama stranger that you gave it to in order to dig around in doggy doo?”

I agree. The first time I voted was in 2000 when I voted for Bush, didn’t regret it then, and I don’t regret it now. I wish Reagan was alive right now, we could sure use him in these troubling times

The wonderful thing is that God doesn’t fall asleep at the wheel. There’s no need to look for secondhand guidance.
