Back in late Nov or early Dec they thought one got by them. Every SeaBox going east on the interstates west of Atl was stopped and scanned for several days. Huge turnout of vehicle inspection teams and equipment. This was a Fed run operation, state folks just helped with traffic control.

See that's how good our border security is! - Go get 'em boys! Can't stop 10 million illegals or 50,000 tonnes of coke - but they can find a small nuke on the back of a donkey. Yee-haw!
I'm sure this story isn't propaganda - designed to frighten and make americans more thankful to their worthless Department of Homeland Security.
So I'll accept it at face value - and write my letter of thanks to Janet Naps.

It's evident from stonewalling by alphabet soup agencies on other types of devices or "weapons of mass effect" that something had been found.
The follow-up statement 23 days later is clearly in the mold of a "non-denial denial" legalist parsing. I wish this guy well. Congress needs to investigate this if they don't already know about the incident(s).
