Everyone needs a hobby.
This guy is going to Peter Principle his way downward to his level of competency, maybe he could be a decent city councilman in the near future.
I wonder if Alvin would be an improvement on Barry???
He doesn’t have that much less experience than the current president. And I’d trust an Alvin Greene presidency more than I do this current one.
Alvin Greene: The gift that keeps on giving.
He can probably get Rove to endorse him.
Alvin is really going for broke, isn’t he?
Might as well start at the top and work your way down, I say.
If the district is going to go Democrat anyway, I hope he wins.
I suspect he has a severe form of Asperger syndrome and is doing this only because he needs a job.
Frankly, I don’t know why people make fun of Alvin Greene. His qualifications appear to be on par with Barry’s.
No, I think Alvin can prove his citizenship.
I wonder, did they ever find out who was behind Alvin Greene’s senate race? I remember hearing he didn’t have the money himself. How is this guy still around?
I believe Ann Coulter identified Greene as “the most qualified Democrat candidate I’ve ever seen!” Run, Alvin, Run!
Go Alvin Greene - If I were stupid enough to be a democrat, I’d support you!
RE: If the district is going to go Democrat anyway, I hope he wins.
Remember this, the election results in South Carolina last November was :
Greene lost to DeMint by a margin of 63% to 28%, with third party candidates earning 9% of the vote.
28% of the vote amounts to something close to 398,000 VOTES !!
The lesson I garnered from this is -— This man has people who WILL VOTE FOR HIM OVER ANY REPUBLICAN, even someone as competent as Jim DeMint.
I would not be surprised if he won this time. And those who vote for him would deserve him too.
RE: I wonder, did they ever find out who was behind Alvin Greenes senate race?
Alvin Greene said that he originally got the idea to run for office in 2008 when he was stationed in Korea.
In the South Carolina Democratic primary held June 8, 2010, he received 100,362 (59%) votes out of 170,215 votes cast, while 69,853 (41%) went to Vic Rawl. Voter turnout in most counties was in the range of 20-30%.
After Greene was declared the winner and after his opponent congratulated him on his win, officials in the Democratic party began to voice opposition and to raise questions about Greene and his campaign.
He did not attend the state Democratic party convention, did not file the form with the Secretary of the Senate and the legally required form for the Federal Election Commission, and attempted to pay his $10,400 filing fee with a personal check, rather than a check from a campaign account ( Don’t ask me how he got the $10,400, I don’t know ).
Meanwhile, the Black Caucus in SC that worked doubletime against Gov Nikki Haley is now complaining that Haley isnt putting any of their cronies into the cabinet. The Dems in SC, like all over, are the gimme gimme crowd in America. It doesnt ever matter to them that they deserve nothing and need to earn what they get.
I was just about to delete the Alvin Greene ping list from my computer.
Oh, well. More entertainment!

Want on or off this ping list? Just send a FReepmail.
Heads up Swampy. We got work to do :-)
If you’ve got a link to that, it needs to be posted of FR. Let me or Swampy know so we can ping for Nikki.
