Is this the same kook who ran for office for the house or senate in the 2008 election?
Could you add me please?
Thanks
lol
So, you can’t wait to rush out and vote for the guy? If I ever called you a racist, I take it back. ;-p
2010, Senate, against DeMint.
Don’t laugh, folks. Alvin Greene received, iirc, over 300,000 votes in his first run at office.
You never called me a racist.
Alvin Greene’s candidacy made a list of “Top 5 Most Bizarre Contests” of the 2011 elections.
No real link, Sunday night on Cola radio show called Counterpoint host Cindy Hardy had Rep Leon Howard on the air. Howard was complaining about no blacks in the cabinet. Haley has to be aware as he stated she met with the Black Caucus and after she had filled her cabinet, Howard gave her a dozen qualified resumes to hire for deppty slots etc. Overall, lots of whining as usual.
I feel better.
Alvin Greene. The gift that keeps on giving.
RE: Dont laugh, folks. Alvin Greene received, iirc, over 300,000 votes in his first run at office.
Actually : Almost 357,000 votes or 28% of all of South Carolina !!

He’s got people who believe in him.
Consider this factoid -— MORE PEOPLE IN SC VOTED FOR ALVIN GREENE THAN PEOPLE IN DELAWARE VOTED FOR CHRISTINE O’DONNEL + CHRIS COONS COMBINED !! ( Please don’t flame me about the popultion of these states, I KNOW. Just saying that Al Greene isn’t as hopeless as people would like to believe ).

No, Alvin Greene’s first, and thus far, only election run was last year’s election for South Carolina’s Senate seat against the formidable Jim DeMint ( who did not even spend money campaigning ).
Alvin Greene’s slogan (which he popularized in a TV interview with Lawrence O’Donnell ) : “JIM DEMINT STARTED THE RECESSION !” :)

The man is a classic !!
No wonder A. Greene is ready to try his hand at politics again. Unlike B.H. Obama, he did provide some humor.
Thanks.
