As a married woman, I’ll go to a comedy show with a friend that happens to be a female, in Canada, and let them yell lesbian jokes at me for $22,000.

The B.C. Human Rights Tribunal on Thursday ordered a Toronto comedian and a Vancouver restaurant owner to pay a Vancouver woman $22,000 for hurling a torrent of sexual insults at her and her same-sex partner during a comedy show three years ago. It doesn't matter what was said. This "couple" is not entitled to any money, nor should the comedian or the establishment be fined. I've been to a show that was not my style, walked out after a few minutes, and received a full refund (not legally required, but they wanted me to come back). This happens with some comedians, and if they didn't like it they should have left. Time to grow up, lesbians.

Dyke table? Those damn Hollanders coming to Canada and putting up tables to hold out the sea. What’s next? A tulip table? You can get fined for this? “Your honor, I didn’t go to that comedy club to hear jokes. I went there to heckle straights. Did you hear the one about the two straights that walked into a bar? I sued them! Hahahahaha! Give me some money or my girlfriend will beat you up.”
