That was the law and it doesnt have room to make exceptions..there was a reason for the law to read that way. Do you choose which laws to obey and not obey if you don’t like it? Does the govt? If he was born out of the country there were other ways to get him to be a US citizen that were easy but not well known. I don’t have time to look up the statutes but there were other options for her and him.

Barack Obama, or whatever his name is, has proven that our political and legal class is so far gone that you don’t have to prove you’re constitutionally eligible to be president, and Shep Smith has proven that you don’t have to know much of anything to be a talking head on the idiot box.
We are either a nation of laws or not. If not, than whoever has more power can make everyone else do whatever he wants. Runs the continuum from anarchy to dictatorship (one leads to the other, anyway).
Or, everyone has to follow the laws. If the laws are bad, there are ways to change them. But that is hard when the laws are already not being followed by select groups or individuals.
Right now our country is on the brink of losing the rule of law. If the guy in the White House doesn’t have to follow the laws, nor others in DC, then it means that anyone who can get away with breaking laws can and will try to do so. It’s that simple.

That’ wasn’t a COLB being “released”. It was partisan hacks and hireling putting together or finding or somehow getting ahold (who knows how, no one has said) a paper that bears some resemblance to an actual COLB.
If and when a COLB is entered as evidence in a court of law, with proper provenance, and some people under oath, then we can say that a COLB has been released.
