Ashton Kutcher is a terrible actor and only has a career because he’s married to that skank Demi Moore.
Nobody will watch this crap without Sheen, he’s the ONLY reason it was a hit.
Just goes to show how stupid Hollywood thinks Americans are.

So, does this mean we are going from “Tiger Blood” to “Cougar Blood?”

Can PROUDLY state I NEVER could watch, let alone TOLERATE, 30 SECONDS OF THAT CRAP SITCOM.

Lowest common denominator drivel for people under sedation.

Kutcher is only funny as a dumb ass; a sort of verbal slap stick type of humor (if you like that sort of dumb ass humor).

That wasn’t the form of humor Sheen’s character did and I think Kutcher does not know how to do comedy, other than as a real dumb ass.

If his looks were less attractive, he’d be better playing the role now played by Sheen’s former co-star - the dumb ass brother role, than he will be in Sheen’s old role.

Wow. They managed to find someone I could tolerate even less than Charlie Sheen.

But then that fits with the theme of the show, i guess.

If they had chosen Jeremy Piven, I might have watched it a few times.
He MADE ‘Entourage’.

One “half a man” replaces another? Big deal.

Exactly.
Robbie Rist was probably the first incarnation of the practice as “Cousin Oliver”.

However, none was more aggregious than the additon of baby Keaton to “Family Ties”. The following season, the kid was FIVE and talking. The show died a quick death and the kid who played the remarkably-aged baby is now a casualty of Hollywood Kids.

He's always stalking around thumbing through his cell phone. His wife would get pissed at him every other show and him sucking up to her was always hilarious. The whole show was very good. Gave me tons more laughs than anything else on TV. They have a few more shows then finito

Whoop-de-doo!

The kid has grown too old for his part, the “Plot” has been beat to death, the story line has become too repetitive.

Gave up watching a couple of years ago.

I doubt it goes another full season.

I've always wondered why ppl who don't watch a particular TV show post that fact on threads about the show. I've never seen 2 1/2 Men, not one minute of it.

Hm.. I've learned that one might post such for the experience, as I just did. Also, there was a brief moment of joy. I anticipate I will feel shame after I post this.

Science Ho!

I also got a kick out of his putdowns of his Asian assistant. LOL Hilarious.
I’ll miss him.
They made a BIG mistake in not hiring Piven to replace Sheen.

I’ve always wondered why people can’t spell out people instead of using text-speak in a situation where it’s not warranted. And Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is the need for the box? It’s idiotic.

And Meredith Baxter-Birney went lesbo.....coincidence?

I thought it would be Christian Slater. Kutcher seems well-chosen to play someone who’s immure, but he has more of an airhead image than Charlie Sheen does.

"Somebody ask for a kid?"

I was just thinking that this turn of events would be about as successful as Galactica: 1980, and up pops a photo of Robbie Rist! That's gotta be a harbinger of Hollywood doom.

Piven or Rob Lowe would have been good. Mr Demi Moore is no-talent.
As far as Piven’s gay assistant. That stuff was very funny, not politically correct, and gays were good sports (for once) not to rail against it.

Not a fan of Mr Demi Moore but I thought Hugh Grant would have been an inspired choice. The person that makes 2 and 1/2 men flow is Jon Cryer. He is irreplaceable.
