Rev. Al Sharpton: I won't apologize for handling of Tawana Brawley case

All this shows is Sharpton still is a low rent act. was a low class hustler who the media DID NOT challenge over his controversial history when he ran for the US presidency.

He was permitted to participant in the debates as any other candidate, not shunned by party or media.

Sharpton still stands by a story that the courts of law and public opinion long ago ruled a hoax. Pressed on CBS' "60 Minutes" to explain why he never apologized for accusations that proved false, Sharpton said, "I don't know that." "I have thought about that a million times," Sharpton said. "I just don't believe they treated that case fair."

Obviously there will be some firings on 60 Minutes. Can't have the NY demagogue and racist put on the spot in front of the public. He'll probably host SNL in the fall.

Why on earth would anyone think he’d apologize? Brawley is how he made his biggest splash. It proved to the world that he’s nothing but a rank racist and poop stirrer; something he’s continued in earnest throughout the years since.

The media really has showed how lazy it is by giving people like Sharpton free air time to stoke tensions and shoe up lies. They don’t even question his motives. After all, should they actually commit actual journalism upon Sharpton and his cronies they would be labeled Racist with a big R.
