Well, perhaps not, but that is debatable. You stated that “MY PRODUCT WAS FISCAL RAPE”. That suggests that you assumed I was attempting to sell somebody gold from a website(s) which is not mine. A FReeper asked me where could he find gold in smaller amounts because he/she could not afford to purchase an ounce. As my original post clearly states, I had to go online and look for a such website or company to answer his question. Furthermore, I also stated very clearly that I was not advising or encouraging him/her or anybody else to purchase gold from that website(s). I was anwering a question.

With respect to my “bringing up a dumb idea,” I was responding to a question from a fellow FReeper. It may have been a poor example, but it was merely a hypothetical situation. I made it perfectly clear I was not suggesting buying a loaf of bread with an ounce of gold.

So, is your idea better (using silver instead of gold)? Well, duh! Of course it is.

Now, that should about do it for both us. I hope we are both squared away on this matter.

My apologies. I should have said: “THE product you mentioned was a terrible deal.” And then gone on to suggest a much better option in the same vein. Which I did, and got got wrongly accused of “pimping.”

I was wrong and should not have accused you of “pimping”. (I have been known to loose my temper and to “speak before thinking”.)
