Good post -- that obviously was the key to the race, right there. It's pretty obvious that both teams knew
exactly where the timing lines were are how to exploit them.
But since the whole pit-road speed limit is about safety, I'm actually surprised both weren't black-flagged for the video-evidence of a flagrant speed violation... even without the timing evidence.
Then again, I didn't see how Jeffy launched himself out of his own pit stall, either.

Nascar put themselves in that corner with the timing lines, the drivers have figured out how to beat the system. No way to penalize them until they change that system. Bristol is the only one that has them spaced so far apart.
I listen to Jr’s scanner every week and hear Steve tell him whee to go go go and where ‘right there’ the line is.
