Not that the cyclists didn’t need a beat-down, but I get the impression he wasn’t beat up for being a cyclist, but beat up for being White!

Who in the hell with a working brain would ride near the Zoo?
Huh? The Botanical Gardens is no where near the Zoo.
Also, the St. Louis Zoo, is the on western border of Forest Park,which has a myraid of bike trails.
Maybe by Zoo, he means East St. Louis.

I’d rather beat up a mime — they’re more annoying than bicyclists.Agreed, but they aren't as widespread a nusance :-). Some book I read postulated a punishment for mimes as being thrown into a snake pit with a large sign on the wall reading "Learn the Words."

Personally I think it’s very racist if you do not allow yourself to be beaten.
There was an article posted here after the Wisconsin State Fair flash-mob beatings, an article written by a shit-for-brains liberal who had been beaten by the mob and whose only regret was that he couldn't "take them into my home and share with them".
