“What’s my fair share”

Send ALL of it in-and then whatever of your income your Federal Government and Ms.Schakowsky decide you deserve, you’ll get a “refund”silly boy.

this explains it all read the last line.

Robert Creamer has been a political organizer and strategist for four decades. He and his firm, Democracy Partners, work with many of the country’s most significant issue campaigns. He was one of the major architects and organizers of the successful campaign to defeat the privatization of Social Security. He has been a consultant to the campaigns to end the war in Iraq, pass universal health care, pass Wall Street reform, change America’s budget priorities and enact comprehensive immigration reform. He has also worked on hundreds of electoral campaigns at the local, state and national level. Creamer is married to Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky from Illinois. Arianna Huffington calls his book, Stand Up Straight: How Progressives Can Win, a master’s class in electoral politics.

Would she support the government taking all of her money? The government did just that in Germany to people of her religion. The justification was the same: it was based on what the government wanted to do.

This is ther person whose husband was convicted for fraud and tax evasion. I guess only the common people should pay taxes. BTW if she was married to him why is she not just as guilty?

April 5, 2006 (WLS) — The husband of an Illinois congresswoman was sentenced to five months in prison Wednesday. Robert Creamer is married to US Representative Jan Schakowsky. He was convicted on charges of writing bad checks and tax evasion.

Rep. Jan Schakowsky: “You Don’t Deserve To Keep All Your Money”

Neither do you, Jan. In fact, Congress has done such a poor job, you owe us money back.

The question is, will Congress decide to give themselves a raise in the middle of the night just to make the screw job of America more complete??

“Taxes on income - in any form - are immoral.

Period.

We either have private property, or we don’t.

Time to hit the “reset” button.”

We should also abolish property taxes. When you pay off your mortgage you still have to pay rent in the form of property taxes.

The people of her district are her boss. They should say how much she should pay.....or better yet, fire her. I think as a group all of congress should be taxed at the 90% bracket with no benefits and no pay raises.

Since we will never see the money that GM still owes the taxpayers, I will take what they owe me in the form of a 2012 ZR-1 Corvette. Thank you very much.

Let's say we have two people ~ one a Congresscritter, the other a federal government janitor.

The janitor (GS-2) works a full year, that's what he gets as credit toward his qualification for federal retirement ~ 1 year.

The Congresscritter works a year but she gets credit for 2 years.

Yup ~ double credit.

Jan, though gets TRIPLE CREDIT ~ the Russian government continues to supplement the salaries of the former overseas agents of the USSR. She undoubtedly qualifies for that one!

Husband's bank fraud and tax evasion convictions

On March 11, 2004, Schakowsky's husband, lobbyist Robert Creamer, the executive director of the Illinois Public Action Fund, was indicted in federal court on 16 counts of bank fraud involving three alleged check-kiting schemes in the mid-1990s, leading several banks to experience shortfalls of at least $2.3 million.[18] In August 2005, Creamer pleaded guilty to one count of failure to collect withholding tax, and bank fraud for writing checks with insufficient funds. All of the money was repaid. Schakowsky was not accused of any wrongdoing.[19] Schakowsky served on the organization's board during the time the crimes occurred,[20] and Schakowsky signed the IRS filings along with her husband.[21] U.S. District Judge James B. Moran noted no one suffered "out of pocket losses," and Creamer acted not out of greed but in an effort to keep his community action group going without cutting programs, though Creamer paid his own $100,000 salary with fraudulently obtained funds.[22] On April 5, 2006, Creamer was sentenced to five months in prison and 11 months of house arrest.[23] Creamer served his five-month incarceration at the Federal Correction Institute in Terre Haute, Indiana and was released on November 3, 2006.[24]

I’d debate the point with them, of course. But try it and see if you can find anyone who actually has a percentage in mind. They are so programmed to just say “more” they can’t think what the right number is.
