This summer, they ordered the temporary shutdown of a coal plant I worked at years ago. All because the cooling return water to the river was 1 degree higher than their arbitrary limit...

It was record heat/humidity at the time but the bastards still forced the shutdown until the cooling system was upgraded. The margins at these plants are very slim and sitting idle for so long wiped out almost two years of profits.

There was no rationality, arbitration or discussion. Pure totalitarianism all according to The One’s plan...

Texas had a day of rolling blackouts back in February because of a production capacity that couldn't handle a significant cold wave. And now the Gaians want to reduce that insufficient capacity even further.
