Open your eyes Andrew. It’s the disconnect in society of treating people as if they are not human that causes things like this.
I was driving home today and while stopped at a light, I saw a boy, maybe 10 - 12 yrs old, running on a grasscovered slope in front of a library, and then flipping himelf into a half roll, landing on his shoulders and neck, right next to a stone wall and a 2 foot drop off. I thought that if he landed wrong he could break his neck. Then I saw him get up and walk back to where he had started and I noticed him gesturing to a friend who looked to be filming it with a cell phone camera. he did the stunt again but landed badly, rolling off the wall and onto the asphalt walkway, and kind of limped over to his friend. The light changed, and I drove off. I wondered if they continued “filming”. Give kids cell phones with movie camera capability, and stuff like this will happen.
I think the family should sue. Not necessarily because I think Cooper is wrong but it’s just the sort of thing CNN would encourage.
Cooper is in the media, particularly daytime TV.
If anyone is untouchable in our present society, it is them.
Jackass or Whacked out Videos comes to mind.

The only thing Anderson Cooper is at fault here, that I see, is that he didn’t count on the kid being stupid, trying to do impressive things instead of normal things.
It’s understandable that Anderson Cooper, not having kids and his staff probably not having kids, because they are career people, but the parents should have known that a teen boy might be inclined to try and impress by doing acts of stupidity.
Teenage boys are stupid by nature.
If you dare one to dip his hand in molten lead, there’s a good chance that some of them will take you up on the offer.

I don’t see a ‘cause of action’ for the family to sue. Not that that would stop them.
It seems the kid wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary for him. Some teens are really stupid in the risks they take without ever even contemplating negative consequences. That doesn’t mean it’s not sad for him and his family. It’s tragic. But you can’t blame Cooper, his producer or the network for this incident.
Distraught he may have caused the kid’s death or distraught he may be on the hook for millions in damages? I say the latter. Liberals don’t have souls... well, they certainly don’t believe in God so they may as well kiss whatever soul they had goodbye.
Sorry for the kid, but think of the damage caused by encouraging people to vote Democrat.

Imagine if someone like Hannity encouraged an equally debilitating stunt that involved the legal use of a gun.
If you can blame, and convict, a bully for a kid’s suicide...why not Cooper for this? They both pushed.
