We already know what the real reasons for protesting are, the Dems have been socializing the idea and now they are putting action to the proposal. The "protesters" are just obiebots following orders - they don't know why.
Follow the dots - first, we have the Canada Free Press speculating about zero suspending the elections next year to avoid being trounced at the ballot box. Then, Gov. Bev Perdue "jokes" (uh-huh) to the Rotary Club that we should just "suspend Congressional elections for a couple of years" so they can go about the business of fixing the economy and creating jobs.
Then comes the "Occupy Wall Street" morons and a movement that (spontaneously, doncha know) "spreads" across the country, just like the Tea Party. Uh-huh.
So, in all liklihood, the OWS movement will continue to spread and become violent, especially if any conservatives get sucked in by all of this and get in their face. This, of course, will cause "The Won" to order Martial Law and suspend next year's elections until civil order is restored . . . . . . which is liable to take a few decades if he has his way.
Thus, we end up with a situation in which the end justifies the means.
Afterward they will be visiting non-Dem voters and helping in their relocation to a secure facility somewhere in New Mexico. Graduates will return home as new born Dem voters. The rest will be burried in nearby plots.

Every liberal protest leaves a huge mess behind. Most have only been a few hours, this one had been going on for weeks so I can only imagine the smell. I expect the property owners to have a sizable clean up bill.
