Look no farther than Kalifornia. :(

I emailed The Five with my opinion of Perino, saying that while she was probably a nice woman, butshe appears over rehearsed in her contributions in a venue which is supposed to be spontaneous. Whereas the rest are mentally ‘hot’, she sort of staggers into her comments.

I didn’t say this: “She has got to maintain that Bush/Rove subterfuge.” but that is my opinion.

[I made a comment in Post #60 about that...]

Indeed, you did, I didn’t mean to step on your post.

If only we could get REAL action from the federal government to hold the Mexican government fully accountable we could make some headway.

If it were me, I’d empty all our jails and prisons of THEIR citizen criminals load them up in a cargo plane and take them back to Mexico and keep doing it until they get the message. They are YOUR people, you take care of them.

I also get tired of our spineless politicians who complain that building an EFFECTIVE fence is too expensive or just can’t be done. We are not a ‘can’t do’ country, we just keep electing ‘can’t do’ presidents.

lol — you weren’t stepping on anything I just wanted to exchange ideas.

If we sent them back (which we do after they serve their time — if it gets that far) the Mexican government isn’t going to keep tabs on them.

It is a big mess. Obama hasn’t helped with this at all. He’s not concerned about keep us safe or the border sealed so why in the world would the president of Mexico bother?

If Perry was in the White House you’d see action on this FAST.

The whole system in Mexico supports two classes of people- the elite and the poor. It is all designed so there is no real middle class and there is no legal way for the poor to work their way up to another class. That is the reason so many come here to begin with. The elites want it that way and they have the $$$. I was told by a Mexican politician that the Mexican constitution itself would have to be changed in order to take advantage of their resources and have a system like our- with possibilities of moving up in class and a middle class to begin with.

The cartel war is an ugly bloody thing, and the power the elites have held in Mexico is shifting to cartels. Mexico is going to have major changes very soon. I am sure it will get much worse because I don’t see how the Mexican government can regain power at this point. The Mexican government is in meltdown mode and has no real control. The cartels are fighting each other for actual control of Mexico. The only hope I see for that country at this point is if the citizens that have been unwilling to stand up to the elites to change the country will stand up to the cartels. I don’t really see that happening.

The Pentagon did a report on all this a couple of years ago and stated then that the government in Mexico was in danger of sudden and complete collapse, and that they had already lost control of all their states that border us. Hillary Clinton went down there and came back saying the Pentagon was wrong- and things were just fine. That has been followed up with Janet from another planet and Obama assuring us that the border is safe. So there you have it.

Just a couple reasons I would really like to see someone elected that really does feel strongly about securing our border and enforcing our laws. Don’t see that likely to happen though.

I know he has had some serious health issues, I hope this is something simple, like a cold.
********************************
I had been thinking the last few weeks that he is running himself ragged.

He has been on a diet and he also has so many irons in the fire right now and he often talks about not sleeping.

He has his radio, he started GBTV, he is touring, he has a new home in Texas, he is trying to get a studio built in Texas, started a line of Beck fashions...the list never ends.

That’s an awful lot for one man to juggle for an extended amount of time, especially with existing health issues and dieting.

When I read your questions I had to look to see where you live- I understand you may not know what is going on- it is not like the media is reporting on it. The Mexican government is about to collapse and has no power to do anything and they were no help before they got in this pickle. Mexico WANTS their poor and their criminals to come here, and they do NOT want them back- ever. They will not cooperate in any way and in fact will fight us all they can if we try to secure the border and enforce our laws.

There was a Pentagon report a couple years ago that stated that Mexico has lost control of their states that border us and their government is in danger of sudden collapse. I don’t have a link to that report but hope someone here does. It was a report on countries that they were concerned the government was going to fall apart- Mexico definately made the list.

[I understand you may not know what is going on...]

Actually Tammy, I think I do have an understanding of what is going on with Mexico and the way the government treats it’s citizens.

Mexico is a country rich in natural recourses but like all governments who favor only the elitists of their population, the poor are on the bottom of the heap when it comes to who benefits from the wealth.

President Of Mexico Felipe Calderon is no better than any dictator in the world nor was his predecessor. For their ‘system’ to survive it is crucial for them to keep their masses poor, uneducated and powerless.

One needs only take a look at a similar country ninety miles off the shore of Florida but there is a vast difference in the outcome of the flood of Cuban’s who fled to our country...they came for Freedom.

They came not to be be ‘dependents of the state’, after all, that was what they risked their to escape from. They built successful communities and businesses and prospered.

I know the first thing you may bring up is the fact that they too came here illegally and you may be right in bringing it up but it didn’t take decades to realize to they didn’t come here to be a burden to our Republic but to contribute to our society.

The same can’t be said for the majority of Mexican’s who have come here have fell into the arms of a benevolent government which is all to eager to supply their daily needs.

The crucial element missing is the feeling of pride in themselves as it is with our own citizens who have chosen to be cradled and cared for by the ‘state’.

That’s my view and it really doesn’t matter where I’m from, it’s a reality for all to see and understand from anywhere in our Republic if they look through the haze of political hyperbole.

Originally the Mexicans did cross to work hard and either return to Mexico and own businesses or stay here and become proud citizens. What changed is our do-gooders decided to start giving them every hand-out under the sun, including turning a blind eye to illegal acts. It became the norm to treat them “special” even better than our own. Now we have those that come to take all they can and at the same time they refuse to assimiliate- instead clinging to some fantasy of how great Mexico is and how bad the U.S. is. Criminals come across and are rapidly bringing their cartel war with them, and are cozying up to terrorists.

This has to end somewhere or we will be taken down with Mexico and it will happen sooner rather than later.
