I heard that entire Rush program on radio this morning, and Rush did a magnificent job of dissecting the whole Cain imbroglio, as only Rush is capable of doing.
Every one needs to read this line by line.
How do we know if the alleged allegations aren’t being doctored?

This sounds more like a “Hell hath no fury...” scenario.................

I agree, the bottom line is that nobody knows nothin', and its unbelievable regarding the amount of air time this has gotten (given no definitive charges, and only anonymous accusers).
And yet Fast and Furious, Birthgate, Solyndra-gate, and the dozens of other 'gates' involved with this Administration garner minimal, and only perfunctory, interest by the 'Press'...
Apparently you did not read enough. If you read further down, you will notice nobody saw them getting into a taxi together. So why do you assume you have the truth?

Some more details are now being put out there and it doesn't sound good.
I hate to say this, because I like Herman Cain -- always have; but, he's done. You are right about (at least up to this point) the fact that there are very few details and facts about what actually went on. But, in today's world, that doesn't matter. He is getting the full-Palin treatment. People on this website are people who pay attention to the details of things, who read several sources. Who interact with other people to get their opinions and then think a matter through. We are the exception in this country.
Most people are not going to keep track of all the ins and outs of what has been going on for the past week. All they know, is that they keep hearing things like Cain and "sexual harassment", and Cain and "inappropriate gestures" that made some woman uncomfortable. Now it will be Cain and some woman he took to his apartment and he is a married man.
It is done. If everything is investigated and it turns out that none of it is true; doesn't matter. The stuff is out there in the ether, and people just take certain words and they stick in your brain and that is it.
So, if he were to get the nomination, the Obama campaign is never going to let go of this. He is never going to be able to get his message out, because the media will be doing the bidding of the WH and the WH re-election campaign is not going to let anyone forget about these allegations.
It is awful, it was awful when it happened to Palin. I don't know what can be done about the obvious one-sided bias of the media or the fact that they intend to always pro-actively involve themselves in pushing the leftist agenda. But, at the moment, it is the world we live in and the media is in the process of taking down someone that they see (or have been informed by the WH) is a threat to the re-election of Zero.
I was going to say that story of the woman and his apartment was hilarious, but I guess it’s not hilarious in this context. Certainly the telling was hysterical, if the story itself is rather unbelievable.
This incident is so obviously orchestrated to smear Herman Cain that it’s disgusting and laughable at the same time.
Who’s behind it? In my NOT so humble opinion ... ALL the Rich and Powerful from both sides of the aisle and in the middle ... Just like in 2008 when McCain threw the election to Obama ... as he was probably TOLD to do by those Rich and Powerful entities ... they KNOW that Herman Cain WILL NOT be scared off. They also know that the only Candidate who can face off with Obama on Obama’s visceral level is another BLACK man ... not just any Black man, but an AMERICAN, not a half-Kenyan ... and if this happens many voters will ‘convert to Cain.’
Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky didn’t get this kind of Media attention or screw-tiny.
ho hum........No wonder I don’t listen to Rush LImbaugh. He gores me, and if his callers are screened, he knew perfedtly well what this guy was going to say. Bah Humbug, Rushito! He’s part of the lame stream media!
So far, this is little more than a tempest in a teapot.
I’ll withhold any decision until ALL the shoes have dropped. If the Politico wants to push their story, they need to put up some REAL FACTS!! Right now, it’s just “she said . . . “
I apologize. I admit I only read the first bit because it is difficult for me to read long posts because of partial blindness. If Rush dismembered this caller, I take it all back.
