Where is it written that every business succeeds?
By definition, a business is a “venture”. By definition a venture can succeed or fail.
Also a board member is not the CEO of the corporation.
Board member is 1 vote out of 10 to 12, and all they can vote on is direction for the business. No board ever makes day to day decisions affecting the corporation.
